Beautiful venue. Seat are well place and can see the stage at any level. Sound was excellent. Went to "The story of Taylor Swift, an Eras Tour Experience. " A true Tribute to Taylor Swift. Charity Eden did an amazing job portraiting Taylor Swift. The show was exactly that...an experience of the Eras Tour at a fraction of the price. The little girls in the audience got to be up close with their icon. Charity made them feel LOVED. She even accepted the friendship bracelets they gave to her. Charity did a meet and greet with everyone from the audience after the show was over. Her presents of anti-bully, and "it's OK to not be ok" for bringing attention to mental health should be commended. Her sharing of goodness and being kind in this world is very similar to Taylor Swift and shows not only the young, but all people to seek a better way to be happy. Well Done! I am not a big Taylor fan, but truly enjoyed the evening.

Gorgeous architecture, affordable onside parking, the staff were amazingly helpful! Especially Maria, the Lady (fr Nigeria) cleaning the female washrooms, the cleaners, and especially the Security guard (Mohammed) were so helpful. I also appreciated the kindness of a woman named Trinity.

This is an amazing venue and I got to see some of my favorite musicians last night. The acoustics made it pretty loud but it was rock music. The venue is very clean and sleek, the staff were all amazing and friendly people. It's an amazing place to see a concert.

Awesome venue for a rock / dance concert. Watched Milky Chance a group from Germany. Very loud with awesome lights. The seats were comfortable but not really of much use because everyone was standing for most of the time. The drink lines were long. I guess that's my only complaint. The acoustics are awesome for music concerts and I would come here again for such an event.

Very cramped honestly.. they are strict about last call... and also the people on the day did not know the ticket sections...

Alberta Legislature Grounds: A Walk through History and Beauty 🍁🏛️
In the heart of Edmonton, the Alberta Legislature Grounds stand as a testament to the province's rich history and heritage, a place where architecture, nature, and culture converge. Enclosed by pristine parklands, this monumental building is much more than just the political hub of Alberta. It's a place where history whispers from every corner, where stories unfold, and where Canadian democracy is alive and palpable. 🇨🇦💼
## Historical Roots 🕰️
The Alberta Legislature Building, an architectural marvel, was inaugurated on September 3, 1912, marking a pivotal point in the province's history. A competition held in 1907 invited architects worldwide to submit their designs, with the American firm of Allan Merrick Jeffers and Richard Blakey winning this prestigious honour. The resulting design is an exquisite Beaux-Arts structure, with a dome that captures the spirit of democratic transparency and an imposing marble interior depicting the aura of unyielding strength. 🏛️🖌️
## Renovations: Retaining the Old, Embracing the New 🔄
Over the years, the Legislature Building has seen several renovations to maintain its structural integrity and historical relevance while adapting to the needs of the present. The most extensive restoration project took place from 1990 to 1992, which meticulously preserved its iconic dome and repurposed its original design elements.
The efforts to maintain the building's authenticity while incorporating modern features were commendable, blending the old and new seamlessly. Today, the Legislature Grounds are fitted with advanced audiovisual technology, enhancing the educational and engagement aspects of the visitor experience. At the same time, these facilities remain respectful to the building's historic essence, creating a captivating mix of past and present. 🛠️🔄
## A Living Emblem of Alberta 🌾
The Legislature Grounds represent more than just political decision-making; they symbolize the spirit of Alberta. Enclosed by manicured gardens, monuments, fountains, and trees, the Grounds offer a haven for locals and tourists alike, inviting them to picnic, play, or merely enjoy a peaceful stroll. The picturesque setting often serves as a backdrop for festivals and concerts, underlining the site's cultural significance. 🎼🌳
Moreover, the Legislature Grounds honour Albertans' contributions with various monuments, from commemorating war heroes to celebrating athletes. One of the latest additions, the "Alberta Bravery Recognition Memorial," honours individuals who have performed acts of courage in the face of danger.
For anyone visiting Alberta, a trip to the Legislature Grounds offers a unique blend of beauty, culture, and history. It provides a platform to understand the province's historical roots, celebrate its accomplishments, and appreciate the democratic principles it holds dear. It's not just a walk in a park; it's a journey through time. 🕰️🌹
Visit the Alberta Legislature Grounds to see a living canvas of Alberta's history, embrace its charm, and become a part of its evolving narrative. 🍁🏞️

The legislature grounds are widely regarded as a beautiful and picturesque public space that attracts visitors from near and far. The grounds are well-maintained and feature an impressive array of flora, including manicured lawns, flower gardens, and towering trees that offer welcome shade during the hot summer months.
In addition to the natural beauty of the area, the architecture of the buildings on the legislature grounds is also noteworthy. The iconic legislative building, which serves as the seat of government for the province, is an imposing and impressive structure that commands attention from all who visit.
Perhaps equally important as the aesthetics of the area is the safety of the legislature grounds. Visitors can take comfort in the fact that the area is generally considered a safe space. There is a visible security presence on the grounds, and security measures are in place to help ensure the safety of all visitors. In addition, the legislature grounds are typically well-lit, which further enhances the feeling of safety for those who visit in the evening.
Overall, if you are looking for a beautiful and safe public space to explore and enjoy, the legislature grounds are definitely worth a visit. The area is steeped in history and offers a welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

The legislature grounds are probably the best kept public space in Edmonton.
There are nice features that are build into the area, such as statues, a wonderful centennial flame, nice views of the river valley, free tours of the legislature building for those politically inclined, several water features that are currently being renovated, and lovely curated garden paths.
I come here on the regular to relax and take in the tranquil urban oasis feel. Parking here is difficult to get, so keep that in mind, unless you are willing to pay for said parking.
This place is also well located in respect to downtown amenities such as hotels, restaurants, offices, and arenas as well.

The Alberta Legislature is a stunning architectural gem that truly embodies the history and culture of the province. The beautifully landscaped grounds offer a peaceful escape in the heart of Edmonton, while the interior showcases impressive artwork and historical artifacts. The guided tours are informative and engaging, providing insight into Alberta’s political landscape and heritage. Whether you're a history buff or simply looking for a picturesque spot to explore, the Legislature is a must-visit destination that enriches your understanding of Alberta's governance and community.

This is the Alberta Legislative Assembly Building and grounds here in Edmonton. There are many places where you can park your vehicle most of them are park and pay. Every year its decorated beautifully for Christmas but this year I believe due to renovation the building was not decorated. But as usual the grounds had many lights . The single massive Christmas tree was well decorated with reindeers on the ground. The grounds are peaceful to walk . Before the covid19 restrictions public were allowed to go into the building. The building is quite old but very well maintained.
