Great overall experience, transports you back on a time machine. If you like the hum of tram traction motors, the braking action on wheels and the sweet clangs of wheel on rail, this one delivers. Took one star out because I didn't see many helpful signs guiding the visitor to the Whyte Ave terminus. There's a large car dealership in front of the boarding area and I mistook the dealership office for access to the "station" (there is none btw other than a boarding area). Paid parking is available adjacent to the boarding area. There could be some free street parking spots but I'm not too sure. I thank the volunteers there who do a great job keeping alive heritage

We got married on the street car this past October, and give much credit to the Edmonton Railway Society for making it such a memorable experience. Staff were kind, friendly and provided a brief history of the street car and rail line on the way to the ceremony (at my request). The train itself is beautiful inside and out. It was the perfect setting for an intimate and unique ceremony. The views of the river valley are spectacular. I am so grateful we got to have this experience for our wedding.

I amsolutely adored this train ride. They feature 3 different street cars for which they run 2 a day. It's way more popular then you would think, so you may end up waiting a round or two to get on depending on the weather. Spectacular views and really knowledgeable staff make the experience. It is very kid friendly. It's decent value at 7 dollars for a round trip which goes to helping to maintain the fleet. This whole venture is entirely run by volunteers. I'd suggest doing it for sure.

May 31st. Went to website, saw train schedule, saw it was open, went with partner. Sign at station said they were open. Waited 30 mins, no train. Called their phone number, no answer. Tried 311, they said it's running. Waited about 45 minutes after a scheduled stop before giving up.

I love these trains, they are painstakingly restored, and are a beautiful experience to enjoy. However, this isn't the first time it's been listed as open, but hasn't been running.

I get that it's run by volunteers, but seriously: if you are going to be closed for a day, or close early. PUT UP SIGNS, NOTICES ON YOUR WEBPAGE, AND CHANGE...

I had my wedding ceremony on the streetcar. The whole experience was phenomenal - the booking, the wedding day/ceremony, etc. All the guests were very impressed and LOVED the experience. I talked with Dustin for the planning and he provided all the information needed, answered all my questions (some twice), was friendly, etc. I could not say enough good things about this place. If you are thinking of having any event on the streetcar do not hesitate. It is totally worth the money (not as expensive as you think). You will not be disappointed! Best...
