Northern Exotics — Local services in Greater Sudbury

So much options for 'exotics' Snakes, lizards, spiders, scorpions, skinks, fresh & salt water aquatics, even dog & cat supplies, etc.. (I don't think they sell birds, but definitely ask! They can order in more items than they regularly stock & 2 hangout full-time in-store)

Staff is really great and knowledgeable. Cricket reward program = cheapest in Sudbury. Noticed Glo Fish are also $7 cheaper here vs other local stores. I think almost everytime I've bought fish, he's thrown in a plant sprig (by accident or on purpose, idk, but we appreciate them! )

I wish there were more decoration options for fish - like large hides. So many plecos, very small decorations. Always stops me from getting another one - large hides seem hard to come by at most local shops. ☹️

(He did say they were probably all grabbed before I got there, but most times it's small stuff when I get there - the prices are great on small decor, though - around $5-$8 vs. $13.99 at other...

I am absolutely disgusted with this place! I seen 2 beautiful cockatiels with such messed up tails and they looked so sad as an owner of a cockatiel when I seen this my heart sank for the poor babies. I was so upset I talked to a staff member about it only to be told that they are shipped that way. If this is the case then they need to find a different company to go with cause this just isn’t right. He told me oh don’t worry they will malt but the problem with this is they could have an injury to a blood feather, they could stress pluck, they could get very depressed and the problem with cockatiels is they’re very good at hiding illness and problems. This just disgusted me so much I wish I could have saved them from this terrible place. Whoever is running this place should really be ashamed of themselves cause you whoever you are, are a sick and terrible person for doing this to animals! Do not support this...

Best pet store in town. BEST PRICES TOO. So accomodating they have all my reptile and cat/dog neccesities and they have a strong memory for clients. I am very picky and the owner and all of his staff know my order very well just from the sound of my voice when i call in for curbside pickup! It surprises me everytime and makes me feel special. I ask them to seperate my bugs in two different bags (which some people would be like "whyyy????") They do it no questions asked and they are always so friendly ! I am never treated like an inconvenience and usually i dread chores but going to this pet store brightens my week. P.s. They have an amazing points system that you must take advantage of! I love...
