Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

They allowed a homeless man to hang out directly in front of their doors, begging for food. He was already there when I showed up. I told him no on my way in, but he was still there on the way out and asked again. He was fairly polite, and I couldn’t get around him, so I said yes to try and get out of the situation. Unfortunately, it turns out they know this homeless man by name (Peter) and they won’t serve him, and because I said it was “for him” they refused to serve me. Which meant I now needed to go back outside to this man, with nothing but what I had ordered for myself. Obviously he noticed that so he tried to ask me for my food, I gave him one of my three hashbrowns and some change so I could avoid telling him no, but he kept demanding for more. When I finally said no, his attitude changed and he started getting violent. He took a step back and then started punching the air and muttering threats while staring me down. He was directly in the path to head to the transit so I had no where to go and there was no security in sight. He eventually walked away but in the exact direction I needed to go to catch my bus. He saw me again at the depot and started yelling at me again. If they’re going to refuse to serve someone, the least they could do is make sure he’s away from the premises, like they were telling me he was supposed to be. I was almost attacked today because they wouldn’t let me buy him something, but yet, they couldn’t make sure he was gone?

Every time I go to this Tim Hortons the customer service is abhorrent. They refuse to take any accountability if they don’t make your order right and they will lie about it then argue with you. Today I ordered a friend’s iced coffee made with chocolate milk. The coffee was clearly not made with chocolate milk so I asked the woman who made it to remake it with chocolate milk the then told me she did make it with chocolate milk. I tried the coffee and it did not taste like it was made with chocolate milk and sent a picture to my friend, who regularly drinks iced coffee, she said it was definitely too light and likely made with a different type of milk. I asked a different employee to remake the iced coffee with chocolate milk, she went to the back and came back with the same coffee stating that the other worker said she made it with chocolate milk, I told her I tried it and it wasn’t made with chocolate milk. They offered to put “more” chocolate milk in if I had an issue and I said no I’ll let my friend try it to see if she agrees with me there wasn’t chocolate milk in the coffee. My friend tried the iced coffee and said it was definitely made wrong and went in to get it remade and got ignored by the employees. Anyone who has allergies or intolerance to food or dairy should avoid this location because they will lie to your face and refuse to remake your order. Shees!!! I had to erase my old review and write a new one. It's nothing better than my last visit, but I cannot stand this one immigrant. He is so rude to me every time I come here to the Tim's. He gives me dirty looks, he will not serve me, when it comes time for me to order, he'll walk away and tell someone else to take my order. But that's okay, I didn't want to deal with him anyways. He even went as far as calling the police on me, he tried to kick me out, and I did absolutely nothing wrong. I was paying it forward, and I was going to buy the guy ahead of me a doughnut and coffee, and my usual order of muffins. He went to fast and didn't give him time to pick a doughnut. So he thought I was with him, called the police on me, so I said, "Go right ahead, I did nothing wrong!" He told everybody not to serve me and so I waited for the police. It turned out that it backfired on him. The police officers told them to serve me and that I did nothing wrong. Why do these immigrants not get fired!!! They're so RUDE!!!
