My first order. The Real Deal uses Uber Eats to fulfil their orders. I ordered a pizza because of the overwhelming amount of people that recommended the pizza. When my pizza arrived, the crust was burnt and the cheese was sparse. So I called the restaurant spoke to a young lady, the bartender, and she informed me that there was nothing they could do about pizza replacement because it went through Uber Eats.
She told me to call Uber Eats. My reply to that was Uber eats did not make the pizza. What would they be able to help me with? She said thereās nothing I can do. I was completely caught off guard with that answer. In all fairness to the bartender, sheās just relaying policy of the bar itself. I was upset because the pizza was served for lunch for a friend of mine and myself. Weāre not going to finish the pizza.
So I have to call the owner in tomorrow morning at 11 am. What upsets me the most is that the owners or Management have tied the bartenders hands to make customer service decisions.
The outcome that Iām hoping for is that the owner ORAZIO will be able to give customer service and do the right thing by offering me something that would compensate for my ruined afternoon. I now also have to order another meal from another restaurant and pay for that so my $35 that was spent at the Real Deal is at this point not in my pocket.
I do not recommend ordering anything from the Real Deal because The food quality and replacement order for the food is not available. This was so unfortunate because the pizza was highly highly recommended. The experience with Real Deal has left a bad taste and not only my mouth, but my guestās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCalled at 11 and made a reservation for 6 pm and requested a booth! Was told 30 min after arriving and sitting in the booth and was told that the girl that took the reservation was new and that only the manager takes reservations and marks them in the book and that a group of 40 had reserved the entire area including the booths and we would have to move either to the bar or on the other side of the bar. Other people sitting in the booths werenāt asked to leave just me and my friend. Turns out I asked for the manager and were told we didnāt have to move!
Then I ordered a small pizza, create your own and paid $1.50 per topping, asked for pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms, tiniest pepperoni over ever seen in my life, only about 10 teeny pepperoni and I said to the girl itās supposed to have bacon on it, and I said where, she pointed to two teeny pieces of bacon I could t even see them! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS EXPERIENCE AND THE PIZZA!! Kinda a rip off and Iāve been there many times in the past but will think twice about going back or recommending the place. If youāre gonna charge $1.50 per topping at least put enough on that the toppings can be actually seen without having to have a magnifying glass to see...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBest pizza in Guelph, hands down. *Usually great customer service, generally a fun time. Pool tables are kept well, and pool prices are reasonable. :) Since the renovations, it is a bit tighter between tables, so while this is good for wait times, it's a bit more difficult to play during a busy night.
Edit: I had to edit my rating, as my last visit here was less than satisfactory. I was the DD for a birthday, and all I wanted was a soda water, with bar lime. I was charged for a 20oz pop ($4.25), and told there was no free refills AFTER I recieved my drink. I was not expecting a charge, as I have never been charged for soda WATER, especially as the DD, at a bar in my entire life (I mentioned this). Afterwards, one of the bartenders (I think) realized I was annoyed, and refilled it for free, but it either should have been free in the first place, I should have been told the price, OR I should have at least been asked which of the two "pop" sizes I wanted. Next time, I'll...
