Went there last Monday February 5th. I’ve been extremely busy helping open up a new restaurant, as the Service Captain, and now finally have the opportunity to write a GLOWING review.

First time ever getting my facial hair groomed (really wish I started sooner!) and Brothers Barbershop came highly recommended.

I walked in and was warmly welcomed by one of the owners/brothers. Right away it was a very warm, welcoming and inviting space.

As a walk in, and first time client, Khaleed was available and I was put under his professional care. He consulted my needs (being so new to this, and with a few months of facial hair growth) I said that I would like something on the shorter side. His precision and care was top notch! At almost 37 years old, I guess it’s that time in a man’s life where he starts to grow those ear hairs… Khaleed leant in and asked if he could take care of it. That discretion showed his professionalism- very impressed. The more we got to know each other, I believe the more comfortable he felt to even trim some nose hairs, without him even asking. Don’t get me wrong - I take care of my hygiene, but sometimes these are the little things that you don’t catch on the daily. I really appreciated his attention to detail.

Overall, very very very impressed with Brothers Barbershop and especially Khaleed! Given the speed that my facial hair grows, I will certainly be returning every 2nd Monday to visit Khaleed!

I went to this barbershop to support locally owned businesses in the area. It was very welcoming and the staff are great. My issues are with their level of sanitization and cleanliness. Notwithstanding there was a container full of "Barbicide" on the desk, nothing was in it. There was no sanitation done between clients. The barber used the same hair cutting tools on me as clients before. I watched to see what preparation he did after the client before me left and other than brushing off the chair there wasn't any sanitization. My biggest concern was when I left the place bleeding from several minor cuts from the buzzer on my neck. While not serious, the fact that the cuts got inflamed as the day went on made me worry about what I may have contracted. Thankfully they almost healed and as of today are mostly gone away. The barber did insert a fresh blade in his straight edge razor, but I didn't see him sterilize the actual blade holder itself. Checked out the city's public health page on this business and they have had infractions despite only being open for a few months. I can understand when the place is busy, some things get missed but he didn't seem like he was concerned about any possible contamination from blood on his tools. They have so much going for them as a business but they really need to seriously work on their cleanliness and...
