Great place to have a delicious veal or chicken sandwich on a bun. Marinated in a delectable marinara sauce, you can have roasted onions or peppers on it and add cheese or don't. Then they put it on a Portuguese bun. It melts in your mouth, absolutely delicious. They have other delicious options for you to try. They have been there for 30 plus years. I have been going since my daughter was a baby. She is 31 now, and I still frequently go with the family. The owner is so kind at the front counter. I found out about this place 20 years ago, back when it was a closely-guarded secret; before there was a separate dining area, and you walked to the butcher counter at the back of the store and simply said, "Could I have a sandwich, please?". An absolute treasure that must be protected at all costs. Ordered the meatball sub with mozzarella ($5.50). The bread was light and fluffy, soaking up the delicious tomato sauce and juices from the meatballs. The bread quickly disintegrated and became useless with the three massive meat balls (boulders).
