Sushi was phenomenal, customer service not so much...I ordered takeout on UberEats and came in-person to pickup my food. The gentleman there was sketched out by me because he thought I was impersonating an Uber eats delivery driver and said they're delivery only. You guys had the option on UberEats to choose delivery and takeout but the guy said what am I doing here and I need proof of the confirmation number to pickup.
The delivery still shows its pending, I showed him my app...it cannot show an order number unless you confirm on the app the order is ready for pickup. I showed him proof of my receipt and the exact amount that got charged on my credit card.
The only reason he gave me the order was because I left a specific note on the order. He said next time order from us over the phone but me as well as other customers don't know that if you don't make a note. Better yet, just take out the option to "dine-in" on UberEats so me and anyone else won't have to be made a mockery and a fool of. I spent a modest 45$ on this tray and I'm all for supporting small businesses but if you treat your potential customers this way then good luck lol.
This is the first and last time I come here for pickup. Sushi was pretty bomb though!

Read moreEdit: While the experience on Christmas Eve was terrible, the owners did make a very kind gesture by providing me a $50 gift card on my next visit. I will give the benefit of the doubt and understand the issues driven by underestimation of Christmas Eve traffic. We have eaten here 2-3 times before and the experiences have always been excellent. My star rating reflects my overall history of experience here. Hoping this bad experience was a one time issue. Some strengths with this location is the variety of menu options. Some of the great variety in options are particularly the handrolls, takoyaki and sushi piece options. Would definitely continue to eat here as long as the service can hold up to the par.
Disaster show on Christmas Eve. They took too many orders around dinner time that they can handle. People started flooding the front door waiting for their pick up orders. Had an order pick up set up for 5:00 pm and had to wait until 5:45 pm. Ordered from them through UberEats, cancelled the order as I put it on the wrong card and ordered again a minute later. Noticed that Uber had billed me twice Contacted UberEats the next day, and they said: "the restaurant said they fully prepared the first order and then threw it out and made a second order"; nothing we can do it's the restaurant who is charging you. Called the restaurant, spoke to Hung. He said they got the order on their iPad screen for a second and then it came up as cancelled; they didn't prepare food and in fact remember the same order coming in for the same food and person moments later. Contacted Uber with this information and they told me they acknowledge it's a mistake on their end and will work to not let it happen in the future, but if I want a refund for the twice billed amount, to fornicate with myself
Hung from the restaurant called me back and refunded the charge through directly to my card. 100% above and beyond, will be ordering again though NEVER...
