Is it even cheese?????Where to begin.
Decided to try a new pizza and wing joint tonight. Called at 6 Pm placed my order and was told will be ready in half an hour. Arrived at 6 30 and this is where it became an absolute nightmare. They lost our order. Than magically found it and told us ten more minutes. Over 45 minutes after arrival the pizza was finally ready. Initially trying to blame us because my wife didn't know what I ordered. The pizza place asked me my name for the order pickup. That's all my wife needed to say was pick up for William. After all said and done they finally agreed to give us a 10% discount. This is where my wife is the bigger person. I would have left. You waste my time and money and I'm going to waste yours. Everyone that came in yesterday had there order late. Maybe it was the early jays game I'm not too sure. Fact of the matter they told me half an hour and it was over 1 hr fifteen minutes. That is bottom line unacceptable. Had they said an hr and 15 fine. I order from Chicago style, Tony g so I don't mind waiting. So instead of making it right apologizing and offering a solution, this place chose to loose a costumer and get a negative review(s)
Now onto the food.
Mediocre at best. If this is extra cheese (or whatever it is) I don't know what to say. I would hate to see how skimpy a regular serving of "cheese" would be. The chicken topping looked like mechanically separated chicken. All perfect squares...and they call this premium topping??? Very bready dough if you are into that. Not airy light or crispy. "Cheese" was over the toppings instead of under which I assume is to hide the fact they don't put much cheese on your pizza. The wings had decent flavour but were those cheap wings like from the Chinese food places...with broken bones as soon as you bite them small and barely any sauce.
We normally try to find the positive in any new restaurant we try. This place will not get our business again and I will continue to remind people of my experience in local Facebook food groups.
Extremely disappointed in the blame, the lack of costumer service and the mediocre but edible food. I miss when this place used to be concession pizza.
Expect another review from my wife, my daughter and my son. Hope it was worth it for you guys, because it wasn't worth our time and or money.
Do the proper and hopefully learn a thing or two about costumer service and...
Read moreI can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before! This is our go-to pizza place in Hamilton for the past 4 years and it gets 5 🌟 on all accounts. And I'm comparing to Chicago Joe's
Firstly the taste! 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for crust, cheese and freshness of ingredients. We go for the classic pep/mushroom/green pepper and it's the perfect combination of fresh mushrooms and peppers with thin slices of pepperoni. The Hawaiian is also made of the standard combination but also tastes fresh and delicious. A standout flavor to try is the shawarma pizza. The seasoning on the chicken with the mild heat of the peppers is perfect. Not too saucy or rich, just the best way to make a shawarma pizza. 😋 note in the photo below we couldn't wait to take the picture, half the pizza gone in a flash! The crust is not too thick and perfectly crispy on the outside with a the right bit of softness on the inside. No cardboard here expect for the box it comes in!
5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the price! Their deals are so 🔥 I really try to support them so they stay in business. Right now the 2 large for $20 is beyond amazing.
5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the personalities and vibe! The couple that run this place work nonstop and always have a smile on! They know our order and us, yes we eat there that often and yes they appreciate it.
So know that if you order from here you are supporting a small family owned business and you...
Read moreI live out near Newmarket, have been a huge fan of pizza my entire life. Had a favourite local pizza place I ate at for 2 1/2 decades, the owner retired and the joint closed down. Concession pizza is the new joint. The pizza is absolutely fire! You want extra cheese? You get extra cheese. Pizza always looks picture perfect, and the sauce, the sauce sweet, tangy deliciousness goodness that without a doubt belongs on pizza, and we all know how the sauce can make or break a pizza. The prices are so fire you get a better deals then pizza pizza and sure as heck arnt eating a pizza that tastes like ketchup on cardboard. Then to top it all off for. The perfect package, the trifecta the hat-trick if you may…. The staff! The Kind and welcoming type people that make you want to go back to a spot and always hook up an extra dipping sauce. 11/10...
