I will admit they have wonderful dresses here, however I am a 17 year old orphan I work hard to make the money that I have, obviously im not going to dress up in designer clothes just to come to a dress shop. I came here to look for a prom dress but was instead profiled as not able to afford their dresses and too overweight to fit in them, for reference I am a size 2 measurements 34, 24, 35. I had gone in with a budget of $700 but spent nothing here and instead went to Melanie Lyne and had a much better experience. A staff member here had approached me and asked what I was doing and I responded that I was graduating and needed a prom dress so I was hoping to see some of the options here, she then asked for my size and I told her I was a size 2 she then scoffed at me and said maybe try a size 15, then she asked what colour I was looking for and I mentioned blue but then she lead me to some black dress and said it was more sliming again not in my size, I let her know my price range and she continued to say I think you’d be more comfortable in this section here which was $30 and under which were cheaply made dresses for what looked to be for a funeral. I can't say enough about this store! Beautiful high end clothes. I went in to see if they sold long dresses (eg. Frank Lyman) for me for my son's wedding. Not only did I find a gorgeous dress but they are able to recommend an excellent seamstress for alterations. I unfortunately didn't get everyone's name but I very much appreciated the extra eyes and comments as I was shopping alone. My appointment was with Kim, who was great, and also helped with shoe selection! Sue also helped (and she helped again on the day of pick up, with selecting jewelry!). The owner was also very helpful in suggesting dresses that would suit me and I actually bought his selection. I've visited 3 times now and it's always busy. I'm not surprised. I didn't have time to look at the other casual clothing but...

It's worth the drive to "Acton"... I mean Lindsay. My beautiful daughter Brianna Miller, and friends, went to @cathyallenladieswear in Lindsay a few weeks ago. She came back boasting about how nice the #promdress's were there and about how fantastic the staff treated them. The ladies gave 110% to customer service and the girls felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I went back to take a look at one of the dresses they set aside for here and I quickly realized, upon entering the store, exactly the exceptional experience they received. Friendly, extremely knowledgable and completely focused on doing everything they could to provide an amazing service and experience. They are more than just formal wear, but also more than your average clothing store too. Thank you, ladies, for making my baby-girl feel like a princess...
