Horrible experience! Extremely unprofessional behavior. Rude and not helpful once they got our money. I hate to have to post a negative review as I typically share positive ones. Sadly this is not the case at midtown. The ladies in the store were helpful and friendly before we paid. We purchased a mattress ,box springs and a frame. They said they would call once everything arrived for delivery. Finally the day came, they called and told me that EVERYTHING was at the store and asked if they could set up the date for delivery. We agreed to it and awaited them coming. Then, on the day of delivery they called me and said that they no longer had my boxspring despite telling me that they did have it when we set up delivery?. They gave no explanation what happened to it. We had already taken our old bed to the dump that morning so we did not know what to do as we now had nothing to sleep on. We had no choice but to have them bring only the matress which had to be put directly on the floor. They tried to tell me that I could borrow one of their boxsprings from the store? we did not feel comfortable doing that since we paid a lot of money for our whole bed and it's only right that we should get what we paid for. They gave no explanation as to what happened which was the most upsetting part. I asked the delivery man when he arrived and he told me that they did in fact have my boxspring at the store when they phoned me but that they sold it to someone else the day before my delivery. How can you run a store like this? I tried to call them to find out how long it would take for our new boxspring to come in and I tried repeatedly with no answer, it was clear that they were avoiding talking to me . My partner wanted to see what would happen and called from his number and they answered immediately?! It's disgraceful to treat people this way and to act so unprofessional and childish. They simply should of owned up to their mistake and then we wouldn't have taken our bed to the dump, we just would have waited. In the end we had to wait weeks all over again for our boxspring to arrive for the second time. I regret not going to a more reputable store but we wanted to support local businesses. It was a mistake going to Midtown matress but it was a lesson learned. Hopefully management will see that they need to better train their employees on how to actually deal with their customers so that no one else has to go through this. I'm sorry but this was...

This is a small business located in Lindsay, Ontario. The owner Jean is a wonderful business women. We were helped by Miranda who couldn’t do enough to make sure that we were happy. We purchased an adjustable bed and a Serta mattress. We changed our minds a couple of times but it didn’t bother Miranda or Jean, they just wanted us to be happy and satisfied. Which we were hands down. Their delivery guys delivered on a sweltering hot day and were professional and courteous. You do not get this service from BIg Box stores and the price was better then any online or big store price - I checked 😉 I can’t say enough great things about this business. Do yourself a favour and check them out before making a bed purchase or furniture purchase as they sell some beautiful products for your home. You will not go wrong. I am an official Midtown Mattress superfan. Went in there for the first time in June 2023, looking for a mattress. The sales staff were courteous, responsive, knowledgeable and respectful. They took the time to listen to my needs, in order to direct me to potential product options that would be suitable. They provided competent advice and quick service. When my mattress arrived (the next day!) I was concerned about some mildewy odours. I called back to discuss, and the owner (Jean?) reassured me that they would fix the problem immediately, and a new mattress arrived the day after my call with her.
