What a beautiful location! I never knew what lovely parks Lindsay has. Very clean and well maintained! I'll definitely be back. This photo was a bird sitting on a grate. When a fish came through, it swooped down to catch it. Smart bird.

Pretty nice if you like water. Not as big as the locks in Peterborough or Ottawa. But still a nice place for a picnic. Great place for pictures. Just keep an eye on smaller children; the water is deceptively fast.

What a beautiful spot in the middle of Lindsay. Only problem is for the people that like/love to fish get screwed. The locks keeper has the worst schedule of closing and opening the dam. Like tonight for instance... Its walleye closer and the locks keeper decides to slow the water right down. Couldnt have waited till tomorrow?? Worst fishing season ever at the...

Late May 2022 weekend. Noise of water running down the dam is noisy. The lock is similar to other Trent Severn Waterway. A nice walk along the McDonnel Park. Anyway, the parking fee is $2 a day at the King St. Lock office while there are many free spot in...
