Hasty Market #8 — Local services in Kitchener

I live right around the corner from this place. I have never shopped anywhere in my life that was so consistently horrible. Products are over priced and WAY out of date. It's like they only get 2-3 shipments/year and don't bother replacing any thing when it expires. I've been constantly overcharged, they've attempted to scam myself and others (there seems to be a big discrepancy between the display price and the price they ring it in as). Even the cigarettes are marked up to the highest amount possible. It's dirty, outdated, and I'm pretty sure the two bags of onions in the 'produce' section have been there since the store opened. On top of that, the owner and most employees are rude. They are forever arguing with customers about everything ive just mentioned. In their eyes, the customer is always wrong. I only shop here when everything else is closed, and cannot wait to move to an area with a half decent convenience store. I have zero sympathy for this store constantly...

I’ve had multiple bad experiences here before. I can concur that a lot of their food is out of date. Tonight I opened a package of cinnamon rolls and they were completely moldy, it was disgusting. Best before date was blank so who knows how long they’ve been sitting there. I also went in once to buy something so I could break a $50 bill, and I realized after leaving the store that the guy shorted me a $20 bill. I ran back in and confronted him, first thinking it was an accident, but by his reaction I really think he was trying to scam me and hoping I wouldn’t notice. Will definitely be avoiding this place...
