If you asked me about a month ago to write a review about this place I would have given it a 3-4 star rating however, after my most recent experience I am unimpressed with the service I received. I ordered/put on layaway a bedroom set from this establishment at the beginning of September ....told them I would be back in 2 weeks to pay it off. The man told me I was in luck and the only piece they didnāt have in store was the bed rails but good news they could ship them in from a different location. When I came in to pay off my bed room I was told it would be about another week before the furniture came in which was fine....after a week no call, no update...so again, I call....another week. Okay that is fine - then I call on the 20th no update or information so I call Wednesday the 23rd and was told that my furniture was being delivered to the store Friday and all was good for my delivery Saturday....between 1 & 5. So I called again on Friday just to be sure as I needed to get rid of my other furniture and wanted to be sure this stuff was coming....again the man told me that my delivery was coming between 1 & 5 on Saturday and that the delivery charge was 85$ to Cambridge. So, Saturday morning I get rid of all my old bedroom furniture- my room was bare....and I never received a call so, I called myself and was told they didnāt have ANY of my furniture. I was furious as I was just told 2x that my furniture would be delivered Saturday the 26. They had every excuse in the book as to why my furniture was not there (I also understand that companies are having a difficult time getting furniture across the boarder - however, this was not communicated....all it takes is a phone call...which they are bad at on several occasions they said they would call me back and never did) the store manager even threw one of his employees who was not there to back himself up āunder the busā as the person who told me my furniture would be there āand he shouldnāt have been making promisesā. I was so enraged at this whole situation as now I had no furniture. The only good thing about the experience was that the refund transaction was quick and painless. Needless to say, this was NOT the experience I had hoped for when I walked in at the beginning of September. I ended up buying a better bedroom set from another company that was able to give me the floor...

We were greeted happily by employees as soon as we walked in and could see other employees busy at work helping other patrons. Karmon was assisting us, and I said right away that we were here simply for a mattress and nothing more, and joked that he couldn't upsell anything to me. He was super helpful, giving us information about certain mattresses that met our specified needs, and backed off to help others when we needed to discuss and explore the products. I'd give 10 stars if I could simply for the fact that the salesmen weren't pushy at all!
During the course of our visit, their system crashed, storewide and unfortunately they couldn't process any payments or set up any deliveries at this time and I understand there was some frustration on the end of other customers, understandably so. While we were waiting, hoping the system would come back while we were still there, I watched as Jerry made phonecalls to deliver the bad news to people waiting on orders that they unfortunately couldn't fulfill today. He was professional, polite, and was doing the best he could to meet everyone's needs. Wes was there too, in the background, picking up where the others left off and seemed to fill in exactly where needed, helping customers, looking up products, making phonecalls, etc. I could tell there was some stress on their part to give the absolute best service possible with the hand they were dealt today.
I will definitely come back to this location for any future furniture purchases I make, as we were met with 3 pleasant employees with great senses of humour. Despite the slow process of receiving our order today, at no fault of Karmon, Jerry or Wes, we had a super pleasant transaction and enjoyed the company of these hard workers.
Not to mention, at the end of it all, Karmon sold me on some bamboo...

Bad treatment and bad attention.
My experience with this store, ( furniture and mattress surplus ) 1295 Courtland Ave E Kitchener ON N2C 2N8 Canada
I bought a table, i paid the price Ųand they told me after receipt the table , i should pay the delivery 70$ Ų
After taking the table, the surprise was ,that it was damaged and used with scratches and stains. , and the place where the screw was installed show that it was used before.
I called the store and spoke with the manager who did not care about my problem. ( As if this is always happening).
The manager asked me to send the table pictures to his e-mail. After sending my e-mail twice Ų because he told me he did not arrive and did not see the pictures.then He called me and asked me to go to his shop to see the table pictures.
But I sent the email a third time and wrote inside it that it was sent to more than one person and they all saw the pictures.
Two hours later, I called him to tell him that he did not respond to my e-mail. He told me he was very busy. After admitting that it was damaged, I asked him to send someone to take it.
And after I went to the store to get my money back. Their treatment is bad and like I am guilty and without acknowledgment of their mistake.
The manager refused to refund the delivery, and replied that he had nothing to do with it. It was as if I had a mistake and had nothing to do with it. And not even an apology !!
I am asking for the refund of the delivery (70$) because the mistake is from the manager and the employees and not from me why I pay the price of your negligence!!!
I wish my experience in this store, reach everyone and to the responsible of...
