Pokiddo Indoor Playground — Local services in Markham

I was hesitant to visit because of all the negative reviews, but I’m really glad I gave it a chance—this place is fantastic. One of the best indoor playgrounds I’ve been to, hands down. There are tons of different play areas for kids of all ages, including a dedicated section for children under 3. It’s safely sectioned off so older kids can’t wander in, which gives parents peace of mind. Each area had a staff member actively supervising, which is rare. Most indoor playgrounds I’ve been to only have someone at the front desk, but here, the staff were present, attentive, and firm yet friendly—exactly what you need when kids get a little wild. My son was upset at one point, and several staff members came over to check on him. That kind of care really stood out. As for the sky rope ride, I noticed some negative feedback online, but when I was there, that section was closed off and could be opened upon request. It’s not abandoned or unsafe—it’s just managed responsibly. I think people are jumping to conclusions about safety and staffing without really understanding how the place operates. Let’s be honest: when you bring your kids to an indoor playground, you’re accepting a certain level of risk. It’s your job to supervise your children, not expect staff to do it all. Absolutely unacceptable safety issue! At this newly opened playground, the staff completely forgot to attach the safety rope for the zipline. When we pointed it out, the staff even told my child to fix it himself instead of taking immediate action.

The whole place was chaotic — understaffed, with no control over the number of kids. Only after I showed the management the video did they finally shut down the zipline. In the end, they apologized and offered a refund, but only after we requested it the apologize. The response and safety management were extremely disappointing. Children’s safety must be the top priority!

We’ve been here twice so far, and both visits were great! The staff were very attentive and friendly, which made a big difference. The first time we went was on a Saturday — we were actually surprised that it wasn’t too busy, and my child had such a fun time exploring and playing without any crowds. Our second visit was on a Sunday, and it was noticeably busier, with lots more families and kids around.
