This restaurant has a great variety of HK and panasian foods as well as their signature AAA steaks. While they attempt to present food well on a plate for a slightly lower price, they fall short in quality and consistency. The restaurant is a confusing fusion of a midrange family restaurant, HK diner, sports bar and steakhouse. We ordered a few ribeye and sirloin dinners, medium rare, and I had the omurice with curried pork cutlet. They came with the standard borscht and lemon tea/milk tea/coffee. The omurice and pork cutlet was decently portioned, the rice a little bland but tasted alright with the curry. Though this is my first omurice which tasted like ketchup eggs, it didn't resemble what I've seen in youtube reviews where people cut open the egg and it flowed apart in a soft semicooked way. This one just sat there underwhelmingly. The curry was a good Japanese style one with maybe a bit too much thickener, and the cutlet was thin yet crispy. The steak was more on the rare side than medium rare and quite fatty. Someone else wrote further down in the reviews that theirs was overdone, so the chefs need a bit of a refresher and/or quality control. Unless you had a large party that all wanted different things of mediocre quality and a random level of doneness of steak, then I suggest going to places that actually specialise in these cuisines, such as Katsuya for curried cutlets, or The Keg for steak. You get what you pay for.

Breakfast is back at Chloe's Garden! Been for the last 6 months now according to the employees but it doesn't seem like many know about it; including myself, until I noticed on Google that they were open today, on a Saturday at 9:30 am then glanced at their menu online. Available only on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 9:30 am. The place wasn't very busy around 10 am. We were seated almost immediately in a corner booth seat. Place was relatively clean, nothing to rave about though. We were offered menus and cutley, but had to ask for water - served hot. I ended up ordering the breakfast combo, E1, which was a mushroom omelette that came with butter toast paired with their ham macaroni. The omlette was thin with a minimal amount of mushroom. The toast was not really crispy, just slightly warmed (I wouldn't even say toasted) but loaded with salty butter which made it really taste. The ham macaroni was decent - nothing much to say about it. Overall, the combo was filling, especially after having the hot lemon tea that was complimentary. Service was friendly and efficient, and they were responsive to our questions when asked. It was interesting how food/drinks were served, as some were using reusable wear like the water cup, plate for my omelette and toast, and bowl for my macaroni; yet my hot lemon tea was in a paper to-go cup.

Tldr: bland This used to be a very confusing establishment with its very traditional Chinese name, cute English name, and half the dining area like a sports bar and the other half as a Hong Kong diner for middle aged ladies. Today, it is bland. I say this as a person whose fav dish is yu choy cooked only in water with a pinch of salt. I got the Hainan chicken rice since I saw 4 other people order it, and the tray looked cute. Yeesh, this was possibly the blandest chicken rice I have tasted in a decade. Legit not much to write about. I also got the salted egg chicken wings. The batter and skin were great since that's where 100% of the flavour was. The actual meat was more bland than the chicken. Furthermore, we asked to be seated in the right half where there are 3 vents because it was extremely hot. They said no because it's not filled up. ... It's lunch on a Saturday. You telling me that it doesn't fill up on a Saturday? 5 min later, they seated people there. It was so hot that my mom and I fanned ourselves as we ate. The boss saw us and brought out a Honeywell fan, the same fan we have at home, to blow the hot air around. This ain't it. Such great potential is lost. Please season or marinate the chicken wings before battering them. It was as boring as nam2's wings.

员工态度极其恶劣,海南鸡饭自带的奶茶她想尽办法说谎也不想给你,有必要吗..挺无语的The cashier woman is super annoying, rude, inpatient, and has extremely bad serviceattitude. She's trying so hard to not give me the milktea that I should have so that she can take it as her own or escape some work or what? I totally don't get it.

So basically, I ordered a Hainan Chicken Rice to go through phone call. When I arrived the cashier woman just asked me what I ordered, I said HCR. She asked:"with hot milktea?" I said I didn't order it. That woman didn't explain anything, and just took away the milktea and give me the bag and ask me to pay. But I look at the receipt, it says "HCR - $13.00, Hot Milk Tea - $0.00". So I asked her is the milktea free and will come with my order?

But guess what, she said nah that milktea it's not mine, that bag of food is for person on delivery app who ordered the milktea. But the thing is the receipt on bag shows "Phonecall Order" instead of delivery app order, and the price for milktea is also "$0". I was confused and asked her then why the price for milktea is $0, isn't it free and supposed to come with HCR order? She remains silent, maybe trying to figure out a lie to tell. I asked again, if the milktea is free and will come with my order, why did you take it away without any explaining? Just let me know my order actually contains a milktea!. She finally responsed:"Take you food and leave, you said you just ordered the HCR so I'm not gonna give you the milktea!" Oh wow really.

At this moment, another owner looking lady comes out from inside, the cashier woman look at her and suddenly becomes nervous. I asked her again:"Look at all the food bags here, all HCR come with a milktea, why you just take mine away? Are you sure a milktea is not included??" That woman finally said:"Okay, I will leave a milktea in your bag" I therefore realized I'm right, the "$0.00 Milktea" is indeed free and supposed to come with my order. It makes me so confusing, I asked "If it's included then why you said that's for someone else? It's acutally included right?" She first time responsed to me directly "HCR will include a free drink, but you said you ordered just the HCR". Yo man, I said that because I didn't know a free drink is included. You are supposed to explain it, instead of just taking it away and say that's someone else food!!

Your owner made the rule to give free drink HCR. As a staff just follow it and do it, STOP trying to take advantage of it at someone else expanse please. That's so despicable. Will never go back to this restaurant, you can't trust a place that has staffs always...
