Visions Electronics — Local services in Mississauga

So to be candid, I've never really heard of Visions Electronics until a buddy of mine mentioned it. Up till now, I have been doing what I would imagine most people do when making a big purchase, do a ton of research on the internet. But I also knew that specs, features and numbers are one thing, but actually seeing a TV with my own eyes is a whole other thing. I had visited the big stores (no need to mention which ones here) and while sure they helped and were courteous, there was nothing compelling about the interaction that made me feel my business was desired. They were just polite and nice.

I happened to be in the area when I saw the store and decided I had some time to decided to check it out. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by Ronak who was genuinely interested in getting to know me and how he could help me.

I told him that I was doing a lot of research and wanted a new TV for the upcoming consoles, plus movie watching, my price range. He did an excellent job in drilling down what was important to me and shared his knowledge of the industry of what's coming and what he's heard from the manufacturers.

We shortlisted between a Sony and an LG, but also I wasn't really there to purchase as I was waiting on Black Friday deals and was concerned with I haven't heard of Visions before and was unsure of the extended warranty and didn't want any problems. I'm the type of guy that usually gets the warranty as these days electronics are being built cheaper and cheaper, with manufactures cutting corners (controlled obsolesce anyone?). He spent his time and gave me the company's history of how it has been around since 1981 and I probably haven't heard of it because it really started in Western Canada. What I also really appreciated was the extended warranty here works like this, if you don't use the warranty, you get the full amount back as a credit towards a future purchase. Probably for my next TV lol.

And then finally, he also told me not to worry about Black Friday specials, because it's super simple to come in and get the difference should the TV I want go on sale.

I ended up pulling the trigger right then and there, and the real reason was, here was finally someone that was genuine in helping me, and actually wanted to earn my business. I haven't had service like this since the 90s, sure I was only in high school then, but I remember real service.

I have had the TV now for about a month, and it's everything I wanted it to be, and I have been singing Ronak's praises to everyone I meet. And it's not just Ronak, the entire staff there who I also got to interact with are extremely genuine individuals who give excellent service and make your feel like a VIP.

Anyone who's in the market for new electronics can't go wrong dealing with the staff at Visions. I recently decided to upgrade my home theatre system, and spoke with one of their representatives, Raj Patel. Not only did Raj get me a great deal on an open box sound bar (The Samsung Q930B), but he also arranged a fantastic deal for me on a Samsung Neo QLED QN92B big screen TV.

I was considering the QN90B, but Raj was kind enough to offer me an upgrade to a higher end model at no extra cost. I picked these items up from the Dundas location last Saturday. The sales rep at I dealt with at that location, "Meet" was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions on the spot. This was by far, one of the most pleasant and satisfying sales experiences I've ever had.

Both products work seamlessly together. The image quality on the display is superb, and the surround sound (Atmos) effects from the Q930B are just insane! I can recommend either or both of these products without hesitation.

I would be remiss not to mention how competitive the pricing on these items was. I searched high and low, and no other company could even come close to matching these prices. If I did manage to find a lower price (which I doubt would happen) over the next 60 days, Visions will beat that price by 15%, regardless of whether it's Black Friday or Boxing Day pricing. Pretty hard to beat a policy like that!

Moreover, I can't recommend the staff at Visions highly enough. This is the way customer service should be handled, and the staff I dealt with, made it apparent that they put their customers first...sadly, unlike some retail businesses I've dealt with in the past.
