I ordered an extra large and a medium all-dressed pizza this evening. Unfortunately, the pizzas were cold and they looked as if the $1,00 a slice variety we find at Guy-Concordia metro as well as on St-Laurent blvd, or one that a pervious client never picked up. Even after I heated the pies in my toaster oven for more than 10 minutes, the food was not able to hold the heat in. We called to complain and were offered complimentary replacements. They said you can pick them up. How can you ask someone to fetch food during the year's worst snow storm? The management was defensive when I suggested our pizzas were discarded ones left on the oven from a previous order that was never picked up. Indeed, the quality has declined. The dough was thin, the mozzarella dry, and pepperoni greasy. As well, the medium was not cut correctly. The meal was not worth the $69,00 I paid. In sum, I am going to go elsewhere for my pizza...

Then new interior can come off as a little kitschy - especially the bar. But the black seats and table linens definitely warm things up and give the place a chic vibe. Yet at the same time you can feel totally comfortable dressed casual here.
Ok so they don’t list everything on the menu. I’m not sure why, but it’s just that way. So be sure to ask about dishes and see what they’ve got for ya.
Lasagna (not listed on menu) was beautiful. Veal meatballs were almost as good as my mom’s. Arancini balls were cooked so perfectly and ouie-gouie on the inside. Yum Oso bucco done right, served on a bed of risotto

Read moreI've been a loyal client at Di Menna since 1997 as food has ALWAYS been excellent. Either on the phone or dining in, I'm always greeted with respect and a smile. Their delivery personnel are punctual, grateful and also very respectful.
In my honest opinion, DiMenna has the best pizza in town.. bar none, as their dough is delicious and toppings are plentiful. Their gnocchi alla Catarina will have you hooked. Their veal is tender. Eggplant Parmigianna will have you wanting seconds. Whatever you choose from their menu, you will never lose out. Although their prices are a tad higher than most, quality comes at a price. Not many restaurants in St. Leonard which can hold a candle to Di Menna's authentic Italian meals. Attention to detail is what these people are all about.
Obviously, I highly recommend this...
