Lindt Chocolate Shop - Niagara Outlet Collection — Local services in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Not a fan of the service on June 7th at 630pm. The lady must've been in a mood. I came in with a friend and wanted to check out their sale area first. The lady behind the counter was not friendly at all. I commented out loud that I didn't see any mint chocolate (specifically looking in the sale section) in which she snootily pointed out the mint chocolate was all around the store (which is NOT what I was asking). Little did she notice that I was specifically commenting on the sale section. Note: when she was pointing out these other areas she didn't once glance back in my direction to see if I saw what she was pointing at. She just pointed and went back to working at the counter behind the register with her back facing us.

I also asked if they had anything pistachio (in the sale section). Only to get a snarky response that no matter what I said they didn't have, she was able to correct me otherwise". Again, if she would've been talking and LOOKING in my direction rather than speaking to me with her back turned towards me, she would've heard & seen that I was specifically referring to the sale section.

She made me feel very uncomfortable.

Then my friend asked if they had any 3 for $10 deals on a specific type of bar but was again snootily spoken to that the 10 for $35 was a better deal. We got that but she didn't want that quantity.

I visited this place with my family and bought 6 bags of chocolates worth about $880 . The girl named Stephanie ( If I am not mistaken) was so helpful and I appreciate her patience in putting up with such a terrible colleague. I can feel the bossy attitude and racist attitude towards Steph. Adding on to this ,she even commented on my husband that he is impatient and my 3 year old son who was sleeping on his shoulder that “I hope your impatience won’t rub on that baby”. Well , I don’t understand her attitude that made to comment like this when we are listening to her short staffed story and workload. Why should we listen to this when we are customers and waiting to get our stuff packed. I wish there was a camera that could record her actions and conversations which would help helpless Steph and customers like us. horrible staff, the young lady looked like she was bothered that anyone came in the store on a December Monday morning, could hardly come out from around the counter with her basket of chocolate to offer, no hello nothing, and when asked a question about stock of the Lindt Advent she could not be ruder "nah we don't have any" and when asked do you think they would be at another location "i don't know" well sorry for asking and bothering you, do you need to get back on your i phone, i was so turned off by her awful attitude, you work in a Chocolate shop for Pete's sake. The staff at the Kitchener location always greets the customers with a smile and chocolate, and are very friendly. Not a smile, hello, thanks fro coming in at the Niagara on the Lake location.
