All ground beef must be cooked to an internal temp of 160ºF. and here you jokers are serving them as low as 135ºF (Yes I brought a meat thermometer) You might know this if you were from Canada.. speaking of fresh off the boat, it would help if the person you have taking orders, spoke English and had a clue about Canadian Currency.. I'm not trying to be racists, I'm all happy for people coming to Canada to make a better life for themselves and their families.. but seriously.. how are you working taking orders at a fast food place, and not know what a toonie, looney, quarter, dime, or nickel are... The food was ok. But definitely will not be returning, this place needs to be inspected by health Canada 110%.. This place should be shut down, and the owner should be fined, and never allowed to open another food related business, or they will KILL...
Read moreI have eaten at big smokes at different locations, they aren’t making it the same here. I found the meat to be incredibly thin, the toppings are next to nothing. I was shocked that my burger had literally one slice of tomato and the smallest amount of lettuce, the only thing ok was that there was a fair amount of mushrooms there.
Not sure if this is a new location or maybe there was a change over to staff but I was pretty shocked at the quality of the burger.
When I was there I was shocked to see how much staff they employ, there was like 3 on cash and 6 in the back. Not a downside but with so many eyes and heads there you would think they would get each meal done perfectly and quickly.
Who ever is in charge needs to create better standardized sizes of the burgers or at least come on pare with other big smokes. Toppings like lettuce and tomatoes you should not be stingy on, it’s a simply and easy thing.

Read moreGenerally I was very impressed with the beef burgers. They are top-notch BBQ delish. My only problem was today I went there and ordered the "lamb" burger. What I got was not lamb. It was "mutton". Mutton is a really BAD strongly-flavored lamb meat. It smells horrible and tastes worse and this burger I was unable to eat. I took a bite and into the garbage it went. Seriously. I don't normally waste food but that was just awful. If the menu says "lamb" it would be nice if they would at least use young lamb meat. That normally tastes very good, but if you use "mutton" in your burger recipe then mention that on the menu please. Maybe some people can handle that very strong bad flavor but I for one can NOT. Total waste of my last $8. Next time I will stick with the Signature Smoke Burger. That is totally awesome! ...
