The worst thrift shop I’ve ever been to. Most items weren’t priced so I found other products in the same section as a reference that did have tags on them instead of trying to find someone to ask every time. The lady at the counter offered the price of the products marked $8-$12, but the other lady working wasn’t happy with that and marked each item to $20 (which I think is absurd for a thrift shop). To mark it up after one employee had already said a price isn’t fair, the price shouldn’t keep being increased up til the moment of paying. When I finally went to go pay for my items she then raised the price again, another $5. I put everything back and left. I’m never going back there and I advise that no one else does either. Terrible experience, don’t donate to them go somewhere else. They don’t even deserve a star but I can’t make a review...
Read moreEverybody on here writing bad reviews should be ashamed of themselves. Everyone that “works” there is doing it voluntarily- maybe you should try. Yes, you might have to wait a bit but remember they are trying their best. Some of them its their first day.
I find it disappointing that people could comment poorly on such a thing. Do you donate your time or things that somebody else needs? Disgraceful, disgusting the comments I have read.
Take the time when you are going “shopping” and NOT at a mall Thrift shopping you browse. Take the time it took you to write that review and do something positive for the community.
Every single time I walk in there I feel absolute love and happiness. Everyone is wonderful. The prices are so fair and its going to a good cause.
Be kind people....
Read moreI don't get why "regular" household and decor items are not priced (Do we really have to ask the staff?), and the supposed high end vintage/antiques are priced like in an antique/vintage store. Case in point: Complete 1950s/60s ashtray stand with slag or onyx trim and glass ashtray selling for $100. Once or twice a year they would drop prices -- oh wow, what a deal. In the meantime, visit yard/garage/church sales and you'd still find pre-owned "brand name" mugs for 50c to $2 -- which is what Newark used to charge back in their old location. I guess when you have an antiques "expert" running the store, there's nowhere...
