Good, solid breakfast with decent menu of breakfast options, all at a very reasonable price. Good, quick service as well.

Now onto the Benny Blog, Entry #1: Welcome to the Benny Blog, I get Eggs Benedict all over Ontario in search for the best Eggs Benedict. They are separate from my restaurant review, and this is the first one! Score: 7/10 Summary: a solid eggs Benedict, but lacking anything special or noteworthy. Two poached eggs, cooked properly to medium, with two good sized pemeal bacon slices, on two lightly crisped English muffins. Always good to have one egg, one pemeal per English muffin. The English muffin could have been crispier, as well as the pemeal bacon, but they were still good quality and not fatty. The holandaise sauce was okay. Good as it wasn’t too buttery, and not too thin. A good amount on top as well, not swimming in sauce, and not lacking enough. It just didn’t have any seasoning or anything to make it stand out, it was a bit flavourless. The plate came with home fries and a bowl of fresh fruit. A bowl of fresh fruit is always welcome at breakfast and always compliments a plate. The home fries were okay, a good amount of them but they were bland with very little flavour, could use seasoning of some sort. Overall, a solid Benny, but just needs more flavour to make...

One of our favourite places to eat, unless we get the blonde female server (JJ). Three times she has been our server and each time it was a disappointing experience. We aren't drinkers and this last experience solidified for us that she's only interested in the tables ordering alcohol. We ordered sodas and an appetizer and had planned to also order entrees. When she brought our appetizer, she plopped the plate on the table as she was looking at and asking a young man at a table near us what he wanted to drink. She made her rounds getting refills and taking orders for the gentleman that were coming in. A different server was bringing out her food orders but somehow JJ kept taking the tables of new customers coming in. By the time she returned to take our dinner orders we had decided to leave as she hadn't returned in quite some time. We had almost finished our appetizer. And our drinks while watching her serve others. She made a smart comment when we said that we wouldn't be ordering and then walked away. We had to flag down the other waitress to get our bill. Excellent service, the staff were very friendly. Came and helped us right away, didn't rush us to order Menu was rather diverse but had German items such as pork schnitzel, rubin, meat on a stick, cabbage rolls, meat loaf

We got nachos, haddock, and new York strip with perogies instead of fries

Food didn't take long to get to the plates, when it got here you could tell it was freshly made and hot Nachos were full of toppings they didn't skimp and the chips themselves were not soggy which is essential with a good plate of nachos Haddock was crispy on the outside and hot when it arrived to the table, and just as it should be. I had the steak(medium rare) and it was one of the best I've ever had, melted in my mouth and wasn't tough at all, the perogies were hand made crispy outside and buttery cheesey center by far best I've had, and I've eaten my fair share. Reasonably priced as well 19.99 for my dinner
