This company is absolutely chaotic, unorganized, and just overall poorly managed. I purchased mattress set at a great price during the boxing day sale, but had I known the amount of hassle and frustration it would cause me dealing with issue after issue with The Brick in North Bay, I would rather pay full price anywhere else. I had to wait a couple of weeks after purchasing the mattress for it to arrive from the distribution centre, no big deal I thought. On the day its scheduled to be delivered to my house, the girl calls to let me know that they "couldn't get the mattress and box spring to fit on the truck" and they also couldn't get another truck until the following week. She gave me 50% off of the mattress protector for the inconvenience and I start to wait again. The next week rolls around and the brick calls me for what i think will be a delivery confirmation. It turns out, yet again, they couldn't figure out how to fit a mattress and a box spring into the delivery truck, and they would have to re schedule, yet again. They threw in a set of sheets and a "top quality" bed frame for this newest inconvenience and surprisingly our mattress set actually showed up the following week. Finally the stress was over. Until it wasn't. We noticed that this top quality bed frame was actually bending in on itself. I called for a warranty claim and they said theyd have a replacement to me by the following week. Due to the nature of my work, I'm gone from 11am to 9pm Monday to Friday so it was made clear that I could only be available for a delivery before 11 am. I was told that they could deliver it before 11 am on the Wednesday and I agreed that would be perfect, it's now Wednesday and I just got a phone call to confirm the delivery anywhere between 11:30 or 12 and 2pm. When I clarified that I had specified multiple times that It had to be before 11, and that it was confirmed to me by the brick staff that it would be delivered before 11, the delivery guy sounded skeptical of the encounter and it was yet another headache of having to phone to brick to clarify yet another mistake of something that should have just been managed properly in the first place. The delivery people leaned it up against the wall did not put feet on it or repackage it and left it leaning on my wall!!! That’s right on carpet leaning up against the wall a 70” tv!!!! I went in front of my tv to retrieve the feet off the floor where THEY left them after unpacking the tv to put them on and my tv fell over!!!! The delivery guys were gone a matter of 15-20 min at this time. When i picked the tv up off the floor the screen was cracked!!! I called immediate and they sent someone to pick up tv a couple hours later. Now Feb 3/23 and 34 days that’s right 34 days!!!!!!! after my purchase /delivery and my tv is still not warranted and no communication from the Brick in a week!!! Been waiting for a RA for OVER A MONTH!!! Buyer beware!!! This has been the worst experience ever purchasing furniture!!! I will never go back to the Brick!!!! Btw ticket filled out over a week ago stated I would be contacted in 48 hours and a week later still NO RESPONSE! This is all after 30 days of waiting and 30 days of numerous phone calls to the management and head office of the Brick!!! I gave them 30 + days before a bad review! But this customer is NOT HAPPY!!!! Just got a call today and refusing to warranty tv. Was told by Beth the that she really wanted to get the tv resolved but too many hands in the pot ( contacted main office) makes it harder! Don’t trust this company!! She referred to my TV has a car saying I drove it off the lot and crashed it. Therefore I am responsible for it. How’s that for customer service? Oh, and they also suggested I go through my insurance. Of course they did.

I called a day ahead and spoke to Derek E. in Sales and he said he would be pleased to assist us when we visited next day which we did. Firstly, do not be surprised by the relatively small storefront, the store is actually gigantic inside and the selection of refrigerator brands, sizes, features and prices was outstanding.
Derek was extremely patient, knowledgeable and helpful in us making our final selection. He was undoubtedly the best sales representative that I have ever encountered. Our choice was made even the better when Derek advised that the model we chose had a substantial sale discount that wasn’t apparent to us. He didn’t need to do that but that shows his professionalism. Their delivery cost to Rutherglen and the required Environmental Disposal Fee were extremely reasonable and our new refrigerator was coming into their store the following day with delivery shortly thereafter to suit our mutual schedules.
Totally recommend The Brick based upon our excellent experience. As a relative aside, we were playing in the Farquhar Golf Tournament the following day in support of the Regional Hospital Child Care Unit.
