Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend visiting this location for Personal safety reasons. Please see following pictures . The restaurant has a locked bathroom that you need to ask A staff member To open due to the amount of drugs and transient people that frequent this establishment. They have a sign that tells you to be careful in the bathroom due to the drugs that are used in the bathroom. When we were there, there were two homeless /very evidently on drugs transients in the restaurant, Falling off of stools, Draped over tables, And another one was talking to himself and rocking back & forth in line -Making people very uncomfortable.(You could tell by the patrons & staff’s body language) When I asked the staff why the bathroom was locked-She explained that the use of drugs in the bathroom has accelerated to such a degree that I could get contaminated by touching the drugs when they are left on the counter as a patron. When I asked her why the police were not assisting-She explained that the police have become apathetic as there’s really nothing they can do. The transients still come back and hang outside and as well as inside the restaurant-clearly, high on some type of drug. Even though they pose a danger to us as a citizen, they are allowed the free will to hang out inside of a restaurant with the patrons.
When I contacted the police, I was informed that Even though I felt unsafe as a patron, there was nothing they could really do and that those drug users and homeless people were allowed to hang out in the restaurant. It’s up to the restaurant owners and management to do something about it.
When you enter the building, there are homeless people Camped at the front doors, With drug paraphernalia and needles in the parking lot.
As a concerned, citizen, and a mother, I will not be visiting this location again. It is sad that Wendy’s nor Tim Hortons has done anything for the safety of their staff, or the people that want to visit. Since when did it become OK to endanger their staff who have to work in such an environment, as well as patrons who want to come and visit the establishment? I know I’m not the only one that feels this way, as it is evident by the amount of people that were not in this location during prime hours.
I suggest you take your business elsewhere, maybe Starbucks-where it may cost you a bit more money however it is definitely a safe...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience at this Tim Horton's today, thanks to Karen in drive-thru at 8:50 am. We are not from North Bay and accidentally drove past the speaker. We were in a very, very long line and we realized our mistake once we passed the speaker, but we stayed in the line, sure that although our order might cause a small inconvenience, it wouldn't be a huge bother. When we got to the drive-thru window, I apologized and expressed my embarrassment at the fact that we needed to place our order at the window. Karen, told us that she would not take our order at the window and that we needed to get back in line to place our order, again. The line was extremely long still. Being very upset, we proceeded to go to the next Tim Horton's that was a few blocks away. I decided to ask the girl at that Timmie's if it was protocol to refuse service at the window. She assured me that it happens all the time, and if we had missed placing our order at the speaker at her location, she would have absolutely taken our order. After finding this out, I decided to return to the original Timmie's and let the manager know about Karen's terrible customer service. We were picking up coffee for my 97 year old grandmother and 92 year old grandfather who live in a nursing home in Corbeil. We were scheduled to visit them at 9:10 am and this caused us to be extremely late for our visit. We visit North Bay a few times a year and I can assure you that we will NEVER visit this particular Tim Hortons again. Although the manager apologized, I don't believe her apology was sincere. A word to the wise, make sure you don't drive past the speaker because you're day will be...
Read moreI went in as usual and was greeted normally by a fairly new employee at first with can I take you order so I ordered a large refill coffee as usual. Then right after my order was taken which is a tim hortons refillable cup I had asked her to rinse it as it sat pretty much empty in the sun all day from my morning Tim Hortons coffee & then she started with a snobby attitude saying everyone is supposed to bring in a clean cup and said it was because it was cross contamination but really she didn't want to rinse my cup. She kept saying rinsing my cup is cross contamination lol. Maybe if she planned on splashing it everywhere it could be. So simply rinsing it is a big deal.. come on now do better. Evening on the way out I stopped at the door and across the room she said are you gonna leave now. She has alot of nerve being ignorant talking to a...
