Subway — Restaurant in North Bay

Went in tonight to this subway since its the closet to my home right down the street. Our meal was for take out. My husband and I got each a meatball sub nothing too fancy and our son a kids meal. First of all, the cookies we order for take out were put in a napkin instead of a separate white bag as all the other subway's in town does. Second, when my family got home, we dug into our subs, my husband told me to stop eating as he realizes his meatballs looked green and had a funny taste. I inpect mine and being 37 weeks pregnant, i immediately threw out my sub and threw up. Meatball subs are our favourite, but this encounter definitely made us rethink. Thirdly, there was only ONE person working, as the line up grew and grew, there was another worker there but just sitting on his phone watching things get crazy busy as the dinner rush set in. I felt rushed and pressured to finish our order for the others behind us to order, My husband wanted more things on his sub but said nothing else one it just the meatballs and cheese because there was such a big line up. Such a terrible experience at this location. We ordered a footlong and the chicken was stale and smelling bad. To which we complained and asked the server to make another one without chicken in it. The server called the store manager and made us talk to him over the call and explain him. What a joke! The manager asked us to pay again for a sub, why? Because YOUR chicken wasn’t fresh. Its not our fault. Here’s my free advice to you’ all Please hire better staff who can deal with customer on their own. Second, behave nicely with customers because your business is nothing without them. Such a joke this location is....

I ordered a 12" Turkey Breast sub on Italian Herb and cheese...the bun was very stale tasting and extremely dry. The toppings are very very sparce. They put so little on the sandwich I may as well have just ordered bread. When I asked for a few more olives and another stripe of sauce I was told it would cost extra. 12 olive slices. 1 per inch. Lettuce was not fresh. There was a lot of brown soggy pieces. For the price they charge for a sandwich, I am sure they could put a slightly more generous amount...
