Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in North Bay

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've had considering since I've been in northbay after leaving the bigger city areas for quite some time and this restaurant is fairly new I was Absolutely in shock the bathroom was filthy I was worried use the facilities let alone wash my hands there then only got worse as I'm waiting after placing my order witch took 15 minutes plus I watched the I would say manager degrade and disregard the clearly stressed out worried front cashier as she had multiple people watching her run around then be questioned infront of guests and peers regarding a error with door dash was where I had to say something that poor girl deserves much more or at the very least a raise to deal with such behavior the manager seen and could tell I was displeased with the situation and had no interest in trying to rectify the issue and I quote he says to the young girl see she's not happy!! As of it it's her fault this is truly disappointing as I just finished work and i work in the food industry and simply wanted a quick east meal which turned in to a nightmare lesson has been learned regardless of attempt I do not believe this is to be rectified treat your staff better and if you need to assert your authority maybe do so jn a office so people can't witness the poor girl who did nothing but everything correct from my view get talked down to like holy moly! The person at the cash was obviously told to up sell. I asked for an original chicken then was asked if I wanted spicy, then asked if I wanted the deluxe, then the combo and so on. All I wanted was the original chicken sandwich. After my husband and I ordered which was an ordeal we waited and waited and waited. In that time, at minimum count 4 skip the dishes/door dash/ uber eats person came in and went. Husband asked the cashier why so long? There was no one actually cooking, but doing other tasks. Finally my husband asked for the manager and when she saw the time stamp on the order she finally got off her phone that she had been on all this time and proceeded with the order. After getting the order filled we went home only to find the chicken sandwich that the cashier tried to up sell earlier was not included. Called, but was told manager was on the phone with another customer even when I could her tell the cashier what to say. After 4 requests to speak with the manager she offered me to give me the chicken sandwich hat was paid for and a large fry for my troubles. They had no delivery so i would need to go across town again to pick it up. It cost of fries in gas to get the remaining order. Was told by manager that is all she could do. so, went in for lunch. to start, the place is far from clean. out in the common area it's ok-ish. but you get close to a wall, the corners are filthy. the pop machine was dirty, gave out luke-warm pop. the store really isn't that clean. the staff gave the VERY strong impression they don't care and wished they weren't there. just stoic, stern expressions, one word replies and an overall not happy vibe. the food. it generally sits in the warming trays. for far too long, it appeared. the chicken I bought (spicey tenders) really didn't have much of a spice, nor much flavour at all other than of old oil that needs changing. the chicken itself seemed freeze burned to me. just had a rubbery texture to it that's not common in friend chicken. the side, which was coleslaw, was actually decent if a bit bland. the only part of the meal that I really enjoyed was the biscuit, which was itself dry. meaning it'd sat for far too long before being served. so, the impression I get is they let the food sit and sit and sit under the heat lamps and serve it whether it's within the time limit or not to try to save waste. overall a disappointment and over priced for what...
