Karpos Mediterranean Style Dried Nuts & Fruits — Local services in Ontario

We are fans of Karpos and have been for several years buying their on site roasted nuts , excellent and well priced Greek olive oil, spanakopita, tsatziki , olives, dried fruit and on and on. Now today I met Brian the baker who has his offering in Karpos front window. I did not need bread but selected a baked good. My husband and I are in awe now as we ve enjoyed half mid afternoon & it’s the best cinnamon roll and icing we ve ever had and we ve been around a long time. We ve only eaten half and see the size? Only 5 dollars & so buttery fresh & homemade. Can t wait to try his sourdough and ciabatta loafs. Karpos should be a regular stop for Wortley- ites. Great store. Friendly family run business with an excellent range of items for every taste. Ice cream choices are great for the summer and the Greek food items are really delicious. It is a local way to try something new or a family favourite. Stuffed peppers are a definite recommendation. Went in for an ice cream but picked up some excellent 72% dark chocolate bar as well. The owner also makes up stuffed peppers, greek potatoes and homemade Taziki sauce for take out - reasonably priced and decent sized portions.
