Had the dash speedometers circuit board mess up on me. I called 100+ places in Ontario looking for a replacement one with no luck as the speedometer was made for 1 year for my truck and super rare now. Dealership wanted almost $2000 after tax and core charge for a new one but didn't know when it would come in since very limited on suppliers. Almost gave up hope so just started calling random places. I stumble across qkits and he said he can do it. I feel like a little girl who just got her first pony when I heard that. Brought it in he said be a bit. Took a little longer than expected. But hey quality work takes time, so be patient if you want it done right. The price he charged me doesn't even come close to the grief he saved me. I have to give 5 stars because there no options for 10 stars. Did great work and amazing price. Proof positive: response below. Why would we buy anything when you can’t even (1) look up from what you are doing to greet potential customers and ask how you can help; (2) when you do help, say you don’t have what we are looking for and tell us that you “might get some, it depends” without giving any further information or offering a call when you do receive some; and (3) immediately return to the darkness of your desk and ignore that you still have potential customers in the store?

Further proof positive: a hanky sign next to the cash saying essentially “come up with your own solutions, I don’t work for free,” which I took to be a general indication of your attitude — to be unhelpful unless money changes hands.

Guess what, guy: you aren’t going to sell anything to anyone if you act like it’s an inconvenience to interact with them...

QKits is a life saver! I have been going here for about a year and a half for materials for my masters thesis and I can’t say enough about how helpful they have been. I have been working on a raspberry pi/arduino project and this store is my one stop shop. Their selection is vast and I have yet to go in and not leave with exactly what I need. Products are always quality and there are no delays with shipping, I usually leave day of with all the parts I’m looking for. Stores like this are quite hard to find. Beyond that, the store owners are extremely helpful and kind, going out of their way to make thoughtful recommendations to ensure I have what I need and in some cases assisting with configuration and soldering.
