A spacious Asian grocery store located right near Westmount mall. It's been a few years since they opened and it seems like over the years they've gained more popularity and it is generally busy most of the time. Prices for vegetables are fruits are very cheap but the quality and the freshness is often questionable so I suggest thoroughly checking your items before your purchase or consume those fresh items right after. Same goes for meat and seafood products, although this is one of the few places in the city that has live fish tanks and offer a wide variety of seafood. Most of the staff who work there do not speak much English so product inquiry can be quite challenging but most products they offer will either have English description on the packaging or description labels on the shelves. I mostly shop for Asian specialty grocery items that I cannot find at a regular grocery store. The food court is amazing at this store! Freshly prepared hot food every day and there are lots of varieties to choose from. (Just like Manchu Wok at a mall) Portion is quite generous as well and the ladies behind the service counter are very friendly too. I believe they put all hot food items and sushi at a discount price near closing time (around 7 p.m.). The selection of the grocery items are limited compared to other Asian supermarkets in the city but still a decent place.

To the store: check the dates of expiry and remove them from your shelf. Stop packaging meat that's expired/close to expiring with incorrect expiry dates. I've been going here for 7+ years and have got expired meat at least 4 times in the last year. Some of it marked as packaged the same day, but when opening it it smells bad. Just went today and my wife grabbed some salmon. We opened it up for dinner and realized not only did it smell bad, it was expired on the label. I will be returning it tomorrow. The packaged salmon area is not very big and has good food rotation. So this one was a surprise that it was not seen. This is one of the most important things as a grocery store. When people purchase expired meat they question a whole lot more. I used to have a pretty positive view of this store because of the great prices and keeping it simple, but I'm getting pretty annoyed with the amount of meals ruined and having to return it to the store.

Love this market!!! I can find so much stuff: regular veggies etc but then new and wild things I would probably never try if I didn't explore the aisles like I do. My rule is to always buy 2 new things I've never heard of or eaten before. It's lead to some pretty interesting experiences and has broaden my horizons. I now take a friend with me and we both do this now...get our regular groceries then find something new/weird/puzzling and give each other feedback. Plus they have a eatery area where you can buy hot meals, sushi and bubble tea.

I absolutely liked shopping at Super King Supermarket near Westmount Mall! As a newcomer with kids, finding a grocery store this welcoming and well-stocked has been such a delight.

Highlights:

Family-Friendly Atmosphere – The aisles are wide and clutter-free, making it easy to maneuver strollers and carts together—it felt tailored for families.

Wide International Selection – From South Asian spices and fresh chapattis to Caribbean snacks and halal meats, there’s something for every cultural preference in our household.

Fresh Produce & Bakery Section – The kids were especially drawn to the vibrant fruit display and on-site bakery. We picked up fresh mangoes, berries, and warm bread, staples we really appreciate.

Affordable Prices – We were pleasantly surprised by the prices—they have daily deals and bulk options that help a big family like ours stick to a budget.

Friendly, Helpful Staff – Store employees greeted us with smiles, answered questions about product locations, and offered assistance with bags when needed.

Convenient Amenities – Ample parking, accessible carts, and clean store layout all made grocery shopping with four little ones smooth and stress-free.

Bottom Line: For families, newcomers, or anyone looking for a diverse, well-priced, and welcoming grocery experience in the Westmount area, Super King is a great find. Our regular grocery runs are now something we actually...

This review is for the wonderland location in London.

I am changing my long standing 5 star review of your business because of one Douch bag of an employee.

My wife was picking out some grapes and taking some out of the bag and putting in another bag,(it's just the two of us we don't need 2kg of grapes) when we had an employee of the store, rip the bag from my wife's hands and give us shit, he spoke with a very nasty tone and said that "we cant do that" My wife said " but we don't need that many grapes they will just go bad its a waste of food and money" He replied "then ask we can bag up a special amount for you".

My wife then asked for a pound and a half of grapes, he said "NO" and held onto our bag of grapes stepped back and stared at us

I can understand that you don't want peoples hands on the produce, we do live in the time of Covid, it makes sense if you offer to bag custom amounts upon request. but he offered then said no, sizing you own bag of grapesis a common practice I see, and do in many grocery stores, but then to offer a service that would fix this policy issue, and then refuse to do it right after, that's bull shit, and the rude way in which he spoke.

My wife and myself wont be back. If you keep treating customers that way they wont be back either, I hope that this employee is removed before he ruins your...
