Sweet Life Candy and Pop Shop is a hidden gem in London.

I’ve shopped in store and done curbside pickup and every experience has been fantastic. Online ordering and curbside pickup was easy and my order was ready faster than I expected!

The in store shopping experience is really where this great little shop shines! The owners are friendly and incredibly helpful. The section of treats went far beyond my expectations and every visit I get to try something new (in addition to buying some old favourites). Sweet Life has all of your UK, US and more obscure treat needs met and then some! I was thrilled to find the old school Kool-Aid mixes, classic candies from my childhood like fun dip and gobstoppers. The real stand out for me is all of the different international pops they carry. I was able to find Tahiti Treat (a fave of my Dad’s) and my new favourite, Pina Colada Fanta.

If you are going to shop in store give yourself some time to check out everything and be aware you may have to wait in line, but it’s worth it! They follow covid protocols perfectly with hand sanitizer and masks available as well as limiting occupancy.

I used to love going to this place back around 2021-2022, when they used to have a large selection of foreign treats such as Mexican or Japanese candy and soda, however I was very disappointed with my experience going back this afternoon. As I am writing this, the date is currently January 26th, 2025, and my Orange Soda with Kim-Jong Il on the label expired on October 25th, 2022! My sister bought one of their “Radioactive Soda” bottles from the same shelf and same story, expired October 19th, 2022. Are all of their specialty soda bottles on the back shelf expired?! Not only that, but they have nowhere near the selection they used to. I was very disappointed to see general run-of-the-mill candy you could get for $1 at the dollar store priced at $4.99, and almost half of it was expired! No foreign candy, no foreign drinks, it almost feels like they haven’t restocked in nearly 3 years. Very disappointing, this business is nowhere near as great as...

Great store, great staff and great prices! Best candy store to ever exist hands down. I've shoppped in store and curbside pickup since they opened in London. They've done so much for the community and always greet you when you enter the store.

Also, this so called "the salt dispenser" individual who has a cartoon picture for a profile pic.... do you understand stand that there a small family business? You shouldn't insult them on how fast it should be to put candy in a bag....they are a busy little shop. One time i picked up my order within hours placed online, other times it may be a day or two..and if I need it badly, I shop instore.

Other then that, I'm proud to support a small business. Keep it up!...
