Delicious food -- authentic Indian dishes, authentic Indian-style Chinese food, curry dishes dressed up as Thai dishes -- at reasonable prices. Abysmal service. The staff is very nice but the kitchen is pure chaos. Orders are routinely screwed up, often with dishes missing entirely from pickup and delivery orders. They are completely disorganized and unable to manage the volume of orders generated by their website, Door Dash, phone calls and sit-down customers who are obviously not expecting typical standards of service (which is a good thing because the one person out front works at 150% capacity, taking phone orders, dealing with pickups, waiting tables and generally apologizing for everything else). This is not a place to sit down and eat. (Definitely not somewhere to bring a date.) The kitchen is not visible but the whole restaurant -- doors, floors, windows, walls, tabletops -- is very dirty. Again, the table clientele seems largely unbothered by this but it definitely doesn't meet standard expectations of cleanliness. I really wish they would take the time to sort these things out because the food is good but waiting over 20 minutes past the 'ready for pickup' time set by their website, only to wait another 15 minutes for two missed dishes (that were already paid for, plus tip) so i can arrive 45 minutes late with cold food and serve my guests microwave-reheated food at restaurant prices is completely unacceptable. They've been open for three years and have had plenty of time to get it together. This is the fourth and last time that we will be let down by Hakka Yeti. TLDR: Great food if you can get it. NOT...
Read moreCannot recommend this place highly enough. Seriously. It’s a massive menu and it can seem overwhelming at first, but let me walk you through some absolute must haves (this is my first review but fourth time eating here).
First, our household favourite: crispy sesame beef. If you only get one item from here, it must be this. Imagine if sesame snaps were made of meat. Absolutely amazing. We get this one almost every time.
Second, the deep fried momos. Get them with the sweet and sour sauce.
The rest will depend on how you’re feeling that day (do you want rice or noodles, chicken or beef, soup or pekora). For this order this time we got: -hot and sour soup (second time having it; it’s really good) -Szechuan noodles with shrimp (this is a really smooth dish with a good flavour and spice) -tandoori chicken fried rice (I am not a big rice eater, and I almost never like chicken fried rice from places because it’s usually dry, but this was fabulous) -Manchurian cauliflower (if you like cauliflower and you like spicy things, you’ll like this).
The portions are large and the quality every time we’ve gone has been excellent. We haven’t found a dish yet that we didn’t like. Check...

Moved from GTA to NE London area and the hunt for a great Hakka restaurant is finally over. The food is so good that I happily drive 50kms to pickup food from Hakka Yeti. The lunch special value is unrivaled in London area as you get a complementary choice of soup and even a couple of spring rolls with your meal, which are a 10/10 versus GTA Hakka shops. The Chill Chicken (dry) is as good as my favourite GTA restaurant and you must try this place if you like authentic Hakka style food. Also, Hakka Yeti has a slick online ordering system, which makes it sooooo easy to order food for my office colleagues or to pre-order before they open (no more calling in order via telephone). Thanks Hakka Yeti team and I’ll be...
