Posted April 2025 Clarke and Trafalgar If possible less than -0 stars, but have to go with what I can.... so! Here it is. Been going here approx 30yrs! They used to be good... not now.
Approx 90+min Over $100
Tried to order! 2 deep dish pizzas 2 Italian breads 4 orders puffs (2 each, 2 of flavors =16 puffs in total) (2 pops bought when finally doing p/u)
Over $100 kinda pricy, but fine. Here's the problem. Tried to order online which we couldn't figure out why...? but it wouldn't take our card so waste of about 15min. So we called. The girl who answered couldn't wrap her head around the part of "4 orders of puffs" Apparently she thought we didn't know there were 4 puffs in each box, she thought we only "needed 2 orders". It took over 15min to explain, that we in fact wanted "4x4 yes, =16 puffs!" Now this puts the timeline at approx 30min.
She said it would be 20min until p/u time. Wait the 20min. Approx 10min to drive from home, and pay. Now this should work out to approx 60min in TOTAL right?
15min online 15min on phone 20min wait to go P/U 10min to drive, and pay 60min total
Arrive at location. They say they're busy, it'll be about 10min more. Ok, cool, you're busy. (So 70min?) 10min goes by, go in... another employee (male) says it'll be another 10min. (80min?) The 10min he told my husband, turned into 25min as they're running around making the order. It was mind boggling really. (95min)
When it's ACTUALLY READY, they proceed to say this. "THE REAL REASON IT WAS TAKING SO LONG IS BC THEY GET FAKE ORDERS SO THEY JUST DIDN'T MAKE IT" Wait what?! seriously!?
They STARTED the order AFTER my husband arrived to pick it up! After the initial online15min, (which I understand is likely not in their control, however the online payment issue was explained in the chaotic) 15min phone call, 20 min wait, 10min drive there & pay. Again to break it down 15min online 15min phone 20min wait 10min drive over (& pay) =60min (before walking in)
PLENTY OF TIME! A) To call us back! B)"Double check the order" or in this case make sure it's real!? C) To verify it... D) Whatever. Whatever... pick a reason.
Should be good at 60min right? Nope... bc +10min wait +25min wait =95min From start to finish it was over 90min. You get the idea here right...?
Why not just tell us we have to come in to order or have it delivered?! Don't waste your customers time, it was rushed food it was missing ingredients. Definitely not worth the time, cost, and chaos. NOT worth over a 90min wait. And DEFINITELY NOT OVER $100!! (even with $10 off. LOL yep $10 off...) We'll NEVER go back to this location. Unfortunately this is not the first time we've had issues recently. This took the cake for sure! Sad bc as I said approx 30yrs going there...
Living in the east end, we have so many better options around our home but wanted something "quick and cheap" that surely did not apply. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for reviews for this location. Don't bother. It was bonkers. BS, headache, and "school, did they really? drama" was the vibe here.
Again, to make sure you understand, Over $100 (with $10 off LOL) Approx 90+min For 2 pizzas 2 breads 4 puffs And 2 pops... just amazing. And we're...
Read moreI went for two deep, deep dish pizzas and the kid working there gave me two lunch hot n ready that were already made and said to take those because it was the same thing. I asked for napkins and he said they had none. I was planning on feeding my kids in the vehicle but with such greasy pizza and no napkins, we waited till we got home. When I got home, my 5 and 8 yr old kids were starving so I gave them two slices each. Once I was ready, I grabbed a slice and bit into half a pizza of raw dough. I checked both boxes and they were both raw under the sauce. By that point, my kids had eaten one slice and half of the second. I drove back to the store and complained. The same kid that sold me the pizza gave me excuses first and said that that's the ways the pizza is. After I told him that it wasn't the first pizza I've ever had and physically showed him with my fingers what raw dough looked like, he asked me to lower my voice or to leave. Now, I have sauce on my hands and they have no napkins, a kid who doesn't know what raw dough looks like and he's telling me that he can't refund my money because there was less then 70% of the pizza left. I asked for a manager and another young kid came forward but at least recognized the problem and refunded my money. I will not be returning to...
Read moreThe last 3 orders have been incorrect. Fancironi pepperoni had no cheese to the side and barely any spicy pepperoni, time before that when you order fancironi pepperoni you were to get a free pizza didn’t get that and last night order the garlic bread with extra butter and parm and got neither on it. See pictures. Horrible service when you call to talk to the manager you’re put on hold for over 20 min and by the time you get there you’re still on hold and they’re only dealing with people that are present. “Oh I’m sorry I got busy” too busy to deal with the customer in the phone what a joke. We will take our business else where. The one on Dundas by value village is no better. I’d give it no stars if I could. If I could talk to the owner I would. No pride in their work at all. My husband last time filled out the form on head office website that said they’d get in touch with him in a couple of days. It’s been 2 weeks and not a peep. Take your hard earned money elsewhere people. Bad apple from...
