So my experience started with a phone call ahead to the Lindt store because it was a 4-hour round trip for me. I had the pleasure of speaking with Thia who was so nice to me on the phone I was blown away. You know the saying that it's how kind people are when no one is watching that is the true measure of one's character? Well Thia may have been a voice over the phone tons of miles away, and I may never have met her face to face, but she treated me like a long lost dear friend. That was my initial encounter with this employee.

Then I made the long drive and met her in person. Didn't think it was possible to make my experience any more pleasant but when I got there I was treated like gold. The employees greet you, are eager to help you, and happy to explain the sales (which were PHENOMENAL by the way). I was lucky enough to meet Thia in person and she treated me like royalty. Had a chance to chat with the person that actually hired her and told her that hiring Thia was the best thing she could have done for this store--and she was equally as pleasant!

The store was clean, there were lots of staff to help and answer questions. It was neat and tidy and organized even though it was crazy busy. And of course, Lindt chocolate is the BEST and makes the ideal Christmas gift for anyone which is why I spent well over $200 today.

Obviously VERY impressed with the whole experience from start to finish. And Thia. My God. What a gem. What an employee! If there are any head office, senior management positions available, I HIGHLY encourage you to utilize this employee's natural charm, knowledge and passion and get her into a senior management position where she can take her perfect attitude and work ethic and distribute it to more people and stores than just this one.

Shopping at Lindt store - 1763 St. Laurent Blvd, I must say was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Having previously frequented at the Kanata Tanger Lindt store, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional level of customer service and attention to detail at this location. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm from the staff. They were not only knowledgeable about the products but also eager to assist me in finding exactly what I was looking for. Their passion for chocolate and dedication to providing top-notch service was truly remarkable. What impressed me the most was the staff's willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that my shopping experience was nothing short of exceptional. They took the time to answer all my questions, offer recommendations, and even provided samples to help me make my decision. Furthermore, the store itself was immaculately clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I needed. The ambiance was inviting, and the aroma of chocolate filled the air, creating a delightful shopping atmosphere. Overall, my visit to the Lindt store surpassed all expectations. Saw the special for pick-ur-own individual round pieces on social media. Soooooooooo much fun!!!

Most impressive of all was their Covid protocol--disinfectant gel readily available at entry; shopping baskets are disinfected after each use (I decided to just use the big gift box and wanted to return the basket, but a staff kindly took it and told me she had to disinfect the handles--so impressed!!)

Discovered some new flavours, such as matcha (green tea), mango, coconut and strawberry.

Someone on social media compared the price at C ostco and Lindt, but found out there wasn't a big difference with Lindt slightly higher. However, the fun factor of choosing each flavour beats the slight price difference.
