Burger King — Restaurant in Ottawa

I try to avoid this location in favour of the one in Vanier. They're super unaccommodating! When the 'Angry Whopper' was being offered, I asked them if they could substitute a veggie patty instead of the beef patty, and they said no. I offered to pay for an Angry Whopper AND a veggie burger if they would do it - still no. I tried asking them to make me a veggie burger and to just give me the Angry Whopper bun - while still charging me FULL PRICE for the WHOLE BURGER - and they still refused!!! ("The Angry Whopper bun is only for the Angry Whopper.") I seriously don't understand what their problem is. Just sell me the d* burger and don't put the meat on it; how hard is that?!?! I even sent a complaint to head office, and they said that each franchise is independently owned and can do whatever they please...!

In frustration, I drove to the Vanier location and tried ordering a veggie burger and an Angry Whopper without the meat and the cashier confusedly asked me if I just wanted them to sub a veggie patty instead of the meat: YES, PLEASE!!!!! I didn't even have to jump through rings of fire while juggling live pirrhanas and simultaneously tap dancing. They just offered to do it!!! I never ever had a problem getting the Vanier location to make that substitution for me whereas the manager at St. Laurent location was SUPER rude and unhelpful. Why must I shove pieces of cooked carcass in my mouth just to enjoy a spicy bun?!

It doesn't help that Burger King doesn't even carry any hot sauce, so it's not like I can order a 'veggie burger with hot sauce added'. The closest thing they have is Buffalo Sauce. Don't try asking for more than 2 packets though or they will tell you: "I can only give you two." Well do you sell the d* things or not? I'm not asking for a hand-out; I am trying to add them to my order. Sheesh.

The worst Burger King I have ever been to. After a long day in cheo I wanted to get a late dinner that's when i made the mistake of visiting this establishment. I ordered a burger and two "original chicken sandwiches with just bbq sauce on them" after a 10 minute wait at the window I get my food, know i relize it's 9 at night so they might have to cook the chicken fair enough. I pull around and start to feel around the bag and wouldwnt you know it 1 chicken sandwiche at that point I think oh whatever I really dident need another one anyway I go to check the receipt to make sure I dident pay for it, low and beholde no receipt. So I park and start to go in on the way in I figure I better make sure the one sandwich I have was right. Guess what compley not what I ordered spicey chicken with everything on it. Ok so know I'm going in walk up to the counter as one does bag on hand, you can see the look of what's this guys problem on the employees faces I present them with my food explain how the order was made incorrectly and that I dident get a receipt and just wanted to make sure that I dident pay for another sandwich. They print a receipt and proceed to essentially call me a liar as if I would go threw all this bother fir a 2 dollar chicken sandwich finally they find the sandwich in question on the sliding tray deal and after explaining how I wanted the sandwiches again they proceed to make two spicey chicken sandwiches to witch I had to inform them they had got it wrong again. Eventually I did get my correct order but fast food it was not and made your way was a insufferable inconvenience. Ordered a meal from the app. Showed up and waited 20min for it. Saw the guy serving and getting food, notice they locked the door 😐.

Then notice the same guy get fries and other food then he touche the door to go to the main door to unlock the door to let a customer out then Lock it. Comes back and starts touching food once again with the same cloves.

I told them what is this guy doing ? Gross 😝.

And the thing is they say they close at midnight and they lock the door at 9pm ???????

To top it off people had place orders and was stuck outside and uber eats drivers and they knock on the door and window to be absolutely ignored.

What in the world is this all about!!??

Come on guys I worl a very hard job and physical and you guys do all this and do practically nothing and get paid on top of that to arrogant and rude to people.

You would last a week at my work.

We order and want food because we work hard and tired. And you treat the ones that pay you like this.

Things need to change at Burger King and that's not just this one, but all of them.
