So often, I find there are more craft artisans at farmers markets than farmers, not true here! There are lots of farmers, home preservers and bakers. There are also some food trucks if you want something hot. Most of the vendors were engaging and those that could offered samples. There is fresh bread that is to die for and (best of all) wine samples! How wonderful to be able to buy all your fresh foods for a spectacular dinner and bring home the wine it pairs with! Fun fact: the coffee is served in good old ceramic mugs. Wander with your fresh coffer and then just drop your mug in the bins provided at the entrance. If you don't like dogs, however, this would not be the place for you. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are there, always on leashes but there and plentiful...

Unless you have been living in a cave, you MUST be aware of how AWESOME the Penticton Farmers Market is! If not, them you need to get out of the cave and get downtown on a Saturday one morning next summer! One of my favourite summer activities is heading down and having a Chiropan for breakfast (I long for them all winter until the market starts up again). If you don't know what I'm talking about, you haven't truly lived life yet. Good place to meet people if you're new to town as well. Thanks so much to both the Farmers Market & Downtown Penticton Association for making this the most AMAZING market in BC! We're all very lucky to have this right here in...

Probably one of the most visited farmer's markets in the Okanagan Valley. We live in Penticton and have been coming to the market for almost 20 yrs. It's grown since substantially in that time, adding the craft market as well. I enjoy wandering past the stalls, purchasing something from the artisan bakery, then a drink like coffee or tea, and that sets the tone for me. My wife used to come here every few weeks to buy artisan bread - that baker has left the market in the last few years - vendors may come and go but this market continues charming people year after year. Make it part of your itinerary when you come...

I had never been before so I didnt know what to expect. Well, it is MASSIVE! It was multiple streets worth of vendors and they have absolutely anything and everything you could think of! Obviously tons of produce and mouth watering Okanagan fruit! So much to look at and such neat artists and food vendors. If you have never been and are walking in there blind, make sure you bring a stroller if you have tiny kids because you're not going to want to carry them for a few hours, especially if its hot out!

Markets are the pulse of the community- a true showcase of farming, craftsmanship and artisans. Strolling Main Street you will find new passion projects, up-and-coming ventures, locally farmed organics and meats, high quality items and international cuisine. The Penticton Farmers Market is truly an Okanagan “MUST”! Well organized, community focused and great industry team work to highlight the best of the valley! 🏆☕️🍻🍷🥖🥐🥬🍎🍒
