First off, if you've ever been to real taco stand in Mexico, the new owners have nailed it on the head. The food is fresh cooked right in front of your eyes. They have carnitas (pork), asada (beef), and pollo (chicken). I remember the old tacos del norte. I'm pretty sure it was $13 for three 6" tacos. Here it's $13 for four 4" tacos. Portions are literally exactly the same as the old owners. The big difference is in the quality of the food. Everything here is fresh, cooked right in front of you. Our family of 4 with a 10 year old and 6 year old each ordered a full size adult taco and/or quesadillas meal (since there is no kids menu). We all left hungry (even the kids) after spending almost $90 on lunch. That being said, the carnitas tacos, pineapple salsa, and salsa verde were very good - hot fresh and authentic flavour. I would suggest either increasing the size of the tortillas or including some chips and salsa with the meals to make it a better value. A kids menu would also be a...
