First off, if you've ever been to real taco stand in Mexico, the new owners have nailed it on the head. The food is fresh cooked right in front of your eyes. They have carnitas (pork), asada (beef), and pollo (chicken). I remember the old tacos del norte. I'm pretty sure it was $13 for three 6" tacos. Here it's $13 for four 4" tacos. Portions are literally exactly the same as the old owners. The big difference is in the quality of the food. Everything here is fresh, cooked right in front of you. I'm pretty sure the old owners made everything in slow cookers and your food hung out all day. No, there aren't any vegetarian options, because I'm pretty sure if you ordered a vegetarian taco in Mexico at a taco stand they would straight up laugh at you. All in all, authentic, really tasty tacos. Ask for them a la mexicana. Meat, onions, cilantro, sauce. The best!

Food was okay, but took about 30 minutes. When our order was ready, it was wrong as we asked for hot sauce and no cilantro and got the opposite. Since it took so long we decided to just pick out the cilantro and asked for hot sauce. Definitely needed the hot sauce because otherwise the tacos were very dry. After we got our tacos, we then got our chips, salsa and guac, which we would have loved to have while we were waiting. Our chips were all broken and small, like they were from the bottom of the bag and got hardly any salsa or gauc to accompany it - definitley not worth the $5. Would not return.

The food is really tasty, especially recommend the pineapple salsa! Service was friendly. However, the prices are insane for the portion you get. We ordered a plate of quesadillas and a plate of tacos assuming that for the $30 price tag, two adults and one 3 year old would be satisfied. Not stuffed, but satisfied. A teeny tiny portion was delivered and was a great, tasty appetizer before our trip to McDonalds. Would recommend either lowering prices or increasing portion size to make it worthwhile.

Taco meet was tasty, slightly salty. Tacos themselves need to be placed on a larger shell with the same amount of meat. The tacos could really use coleslaw or a sauce. They are bland outside of the meat itself.

Edit after they replied: They will say this is "authentic", everyone claims they are authentic these days. I've had Mexican street tacos that are loaded with more than just meat so these are technically not authentic to my experience.

Prices have gone up substantially from the review that sent us to try this place. The photos posted on the reviews are not current. They have digital...

The food was delicious, but the portion sizes are much too small for the price they are charging. Our family of 4 with a 10 year old and 6 year old each ordered a full size adult taco and/or quesadillas meal (since there is no kids menu). We all left hungry (even the kids) after spending almost $90 on lunch. That being said, the carnitas tacos, pineapple salsa, and salsa verde were very good - hot fresh and authentic flavour. I would suggest either increasing the size of the tortillas or including some chips and salsa with the meals to make it a better value. A kids menu would also be a...
