Strolling along the river, you can see the fisherman and women, with their families trying to catch the salmon. Flowers in the gardens along the way are still in full bloom. The city takes pride in their gardens and walkways. Everything is so fresh and clean! Lots of parking in lots and on the streets. Both sides of the river have picture taking views. Very cute stop on the way. Calm and the river as fish and nature's educations. Just surprisingly the board was in English and "Chinese" i guess. Not in French??? (Canada's official language is French and English, it felt like not respectfull for local Canadien born here and living here for 400 years, but respectfull for "Chinese" or the other langague that was there: Not...

A wonderful place to visit even to have a picnic in the park right by the River in the town of fort hope they did such a great job and made it comfortable for those that want to sit in this beautiful gazebo great place to meditate come on down to court hope everyone and enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious foods...

Reminded me the little town of Paris in south west of Ontario! Very similar towns! There is a lavender farm near the city, and you can visit the farm and lavender flowers only in the months on June and July. In August they close the farm and you can only buy their products without visiting the farm!

Great pedestrian access bridge to tie together the two sides of the river. The library and park are on the west side and the east has another walking trail and a couple places to eat. Don’t know if they do this every winter but there were mistletoe bunches on either end of the bridge…

It's a good place to watch salmon migrating, if you can not find the place, try to google Jim's Pizza & Pasta. you can parking along the walton street with paid parking, 1$ per hour.
