Edited because the cutting and pasting didn't make sense. 1. Assortment of items at cafe and chicken. Best tzatziki in the gta. they serve green cola which is a bonus. Prices are Richmond Hill prices because you don't have the competition from Arto, Select, Menalon in Toronto. Shelves are always stocked with items. Their baked goods are meh. taste the same just look different. Staff is super friendly and their village Pita is to die for if you've never had it. I'm not allowed to bring home the regular pita. The honey sesame pita is also super.

The chicken gyros is quite tasty and the medallion fries are yummy . Light and cooked to the right crunchiness/softness.

Why do I have a negative review - more of a concerning review. Went with family on holiday Monday. Ordered the 2 x chicken gyros and I did the side of fries because I saw the caddy had ketchup, salt, pepper and mayo on it along with hot sauce. I go to my talbe and start eating. I squeeze the mayo and it doesn't look like mayo. It's in a Hellmans Mayo squeeze bottle. I taste it and it is some sort of imitation. maybe miracle whip. I tell the cashier her mayo isn't mayo and I need to know what she has refilled it with as my tongue is tingling. I can eat mayo but i can't eat many dressings including sauces like miracle whip because of the vinegar and how it reacts with various spices. Cashier tells me its the same tub they just refil it. I tell her that isn't possible because i'm having a reaction. I asked her to have th owner call me and i left my details. In the menatime the manager was kind enough to go to the back and she said it is another brand and the only difference is the spices. WELL!!!!!! @HellmannsCanada should not be happy a cheaper, poor, water down product is being put into their squeeze bottles and people eating it will think that is mayo when it's not. I consumed the product based on what was on the label not expecting to have an allergice reaction and then to have one of the staff tell me the bottles get refilled with the same product that is a lie. Deceiving. I get it I worked in a bar, but the same item was always refilled in the marked bottles and if it wasn't we had generic red bottles for ketchup and generic for mustard. Not one sorry about that, no question to see if I needed a benadryl, or if they should contact an ambulance. Fortunately for me when i saw it came out watery i just lightly did the quick lick test so I had a minor reaction, otherwise I really would have made a stink. to be honest.... i'm not surprised at the lack of care towards food allergies from this venue. 2-3 years ago I purchased their home made tarama. It was soooo good. I ate the entire tub at home and wanted more, but because I have Celiac... within in hour I was violently sick, throwing up, in pain and I missed at least one day of work, I can't remember now if it was 2 days. The Tarama was only labelled with potato as the main ingredient. Turned out there was bread in there too. I called Penny the owner. She wasn't sure how they made it, but she would follow up and add it to the label. The following week, bread was added to the ingredients. At no time did Penny apologize for the inconvenience, for what happened because of their error, nor did she inquire if I was doing ok and if there was anything I may have needed because of the incident. Quite sad she just blew it off. Now because of these negligent food labelling situations and misleading product on the shelf, I felt compelled to share. If you have the slightest allergy ensure what you are eating is authentic to it's label. Cross contaminaiton is inevitable. My rating is a 2 for that reason. And not really sure if it's franks red hot in the bottle. I do wish them success because the restaurant business is a difficult...

Most terrible experience in my life. They do not deserve even zero star. I ordered 3 meat plates with a souvlaki on the side and a chicken wrap at their restaurant, and paid 12% tip even it was a pickup ! When I got home, I noticed they gave me 3 boxes each has 2 souvlaki (no meat Plate) and a warp. I drove back to the restaurant, long drive, and explained and one who faced me denied and stated that this is the meat plate despite I opened it in front of her. My son explained the order again to her on the phone and she said we will fix it! No apologies nothing! After 15 minutes they came with my order and believe or not, it was wrong again! What they brought was 4 meat plates, no souvlaki on side, no checken warp! I asked for the manager and after another 15 minutes, the manager showed up and directly WENT TO THE CASH MACHINE, I thought she is checking my order but unexpectedly, she said she is not going to serve me and asked for my card for a refund, I said I need my order, but she repeated and said she is not going to serve me. She threatened me and repeated if I don't give my card for refund I will be escorted to outside!!! Just unbelievable! Very desrepectful, Very bad experience. Never ever buy anything from this restaurant.

Update: Just read their response, you realise what types of people they are! They do not even know the basics of customer service! I am going to report it to the related...

Wow! I Ordered Greek Market Chicken's Takeout Last night for my family for the first time, after driving by everyday for years on my way to work. My family and I enjoyed every bite of the whole chicken meal with potatoes and salad. It was so delicious, ready to go for the time I requested pick up, and wonderfully and thoughtfully packaged. We couldn't get enough of the secret lemon sauce, the grilled flavour on the chicken, and the greek salad with chickpeas. We appreciated how they even cut up the chicken for you. One thing I must point out is that when I called and placed my order, the young lady on the phone was so kind and helpful. She could tell it was my first time ordering, and give me a lot of advice on what to order, and told me about the current special which was fantastic value for the price. To feed 3 of us it cost just under 75.00, but we had tons left over so could have easily fed 2-3 more adults so their prices are more than fair for this homemade food. Thank you so much Greek Market Chicken for the delish experience! I will absolutely be ordering from you more often and can't wait to tell others about your food (and the...

We have happily ordered from this location for our family a handful of times in the past. However, the most recent time, the dill salad had a strange, unpleasant crunch to it. We surmised it may have been poppy seeds in the dressing, or something. But because we had never experienced this with their salad before, and the crunch felt so sandy, we kept investigating and tried the salad components without the dressing. We discovered that the chopped dill or scallions were the culprit, but because they were finely chopped you wouldn't have been able to detect the sand at first glance. To be clear, the crunchiness was not from the dill stems/ribs, it was an unmistakable sandy crunchy feeling. We were shocked that a component of their signature salad was served without being washed. It's too bad, because their potatoes, chicken and skewers are quite good. But now I can't trust the cleanliness of this establishment's kitchen.

Recently visited. Overall good experience. Staff were very friendly, tons of parking, clean, great outdoor seating. Our order did take quite long to make so we went to the cafe (next door) to check out the desserts. As for the food it was decent. - The souvlaki with fries- meat was over cooked, the medallion fries were great. - Dill salad- not enough dressing for how much salad there is. The dressing was very thick. Wouldn’t order it again - Chicken gyro in a pita- very tasty and filling. Would order again but without the fries inside, they were just way too soggy and tasted mush.

Went in for an early lunch today. I didn't get much of a greeting and was a little weary as my meal (Gyro Plate) came to $19. But after only waiting 3 for 4 minutes, I was handed my bag, and I was off. When I went to eat, I was genuinely surprised how heavy and how much food it was. The food was amazing, I truly enjoyed everything. If I had to pick something into critique, I'd ask for the red onions to be cut up a bit more, and there were a couple of dry pieces. Otherwise, this place is a hidden gem and would return anytime.
