I have been going to this clinic for about 3 years now. Initially started working with Dr. Zhu whom I was referred to by a friend. The reason for seeking Dr. Zhu’s services was to address my complex chronic condition. I completed 20 acupuncture sessions and was given Traditional Chinese Medicines as part of my treatment. These treatments were so helpful that I was actually able to experience a remission, after having been struggling for nearly 8 years. I had not experienced remission in the past. I was well and finally feeling like myself again after many years, which I did not expect to even be possible! The gains I made were so significant that I did not need any more sessions. The remission that I experienced lasted for nearly a year as a result of the work that we did together. Unfortunately, after this year, I ended up relapsing due to exposure to multiple environmental triggers. I didn’t have to think twice, and immediately came back to work with Dr. Zhu again. I’ve experienced substantial improvement since I started seeing him again, and believe that I would not be on the way to improved health (and hopefully, ultimately, remission and recovery) without Dr. Zhu’s help. Let’s not forget about Lyee, the massage therapist whom I started seeing a year ago. After seeing Lyee for the first time, both my partner and I realized that we would be regular clients returning every week for treatments! Lyee is incredibly skilled, in ways that I have not seen before. She is excellent at investigating problems and finding the source of pain or discomfort. Her palpation and treatment approaches to easing tension, pain and soreness are outstanding. She is fully present with you and approaches your body with a very noticeable curiosity. When she’s working with you— you know you’ve got her 2000%. Lyee is very caring and thoughtful and will strive to minimize any and all of the ordinary side effects that one might get from a typical massage treatment. She has been pivotal to the improvement in my health in the last year. As a highly sensitive person, it is rare to find the level of attunement that Lyee provides.
