l am writing because l am very disappointed in the conversation and service from a manager Sojin in your Richmond store, l have been shopping there for 15 years and have been a loyal shopper as my royalty rewards will show. I recently purchased some products on Thursday 13th 2025 which included a fee gift of small samples for promotional.
I choose a product from the shelf, l usually pick from behind the front product, and because both products are in the same similar white box, l did not realize it was not the labeled product and took for granted that it was the same, the packaging is very similar, upon returning home and the next day, l noticed l had chosen the wrong one after opening the product, but did not touch and used, then I put back into the box as oringal package as I can.
l returned the next day Friday 14th with the product, l spoke to a sales clerk about returning the product and if getting a senior price, will buy the right one and as it was not the senior shopping day, l was told no, that only a refund could be given so l asked for a refund, because l did not bring the free gift back, it was at this point the manager became involved.
The manager SoJin came over intensely and l explained what had happened, the miss placement on the shelf, l explained that l had already opened the free gifts and looked at some of the small samples, and already throw away, what ās the point for return? she said l had to bring back the free gift back what even before any refund, she began to made accusation to me in regard to the product l bought and why was it opened? she was very stern almost accusing me of wrong doing?, continuing to say you have to bring the free gift back, l explained it would take 30 minutes to drive home and back, we need the gift back??, she repeated. SoJin made it sound like she was doing me a favor in allowing me to return the product,and l should be thankful?
when I returned to the shop for returning & refund after 45 mins, the other clarks told me that shoppers drug store policy to accept returns even if they had been opened and used.
I felt embarrassed to be doing this at the cashier stand in public, SoJinās stern words were accusing, and that l was just returning the product to keep the free gift which are just small samples and most of them tested and throw away and there was not open to options?
So I realizes if the store policy allow to return, why the manager SoJin behaved unprofessional?, I believe 1) she forgot her position. She did not treat me as a costumer and show respect, 2) the store always allows to return, she should not have that activity toward to me, showed me it looks like the product impossible to return? 3) I believe the gifts are for the costumer to testing then will buy the new products, thatās call promotion?
I shopped the high end product in London (Boots,) Paris ( Galeries Lafayette), Harrods, duty free airports all round the world, I never see as manger in the store SoJin the behavior like that to treat the costumer. The reason I buy the products is never for the gifts.

Some of the staff are not aware of when and what time the prescriptions are faxed or emailed or if there is any refill available or not. This error caused me troubles many times. So everytime I have to ask them to look again and make sure if it is there. But the worst experience was when I was told there was no refill. Then I had a pain flare up that I felt each and every bone in my body was breaking. The next day I talked to another pharmacist and she said I had a refill.
I called tonight and talked to the pharmacy technician at 7:11 pm on December 28, 2022. I asked him if my prescription was received. He said it has not. I asked him if he could give me a call when it is received. He accepted to give me a call. I explained that my daughter has been in the mall for the past 2 hours and I need her to pick up my medication.
I have asthma and I had a terrible time last night because I have COVID and my puffer is over.
I called the pharmacy at 8 pm to find out if they received my prescription. I talked to the pharmacy student. She said my medication was ready for pick up. But by that time my daughter was not in the mall anymore. I explained that I can not go there and I do not have anyone to go and pick up my medication. I asked the student pharmacist why her colleague did not inform me as he agreed. She said he wanted to call when meds were ready. I was upset and asked what is the technician's name. I said this is not the first time to see staff are irresposible in this pharmacy. I said thanks bye and she hanged up the phone on me.
I called the pharmacy again to see why she hanged up the phone. That was disrespectful. I had no problem with her. She started raising her voice and started arguing when I asked why you hang up. She was raising her voice, became emotional and accused me of being disrespectful, while I was not disrespectful. I asked her name and her position and started explaining to her that as a student you need to learn.." She hanged up on me again.
As I was saying: Dear healtcare student you need to learn: How to communicate professionally with the patient as a healthcare worker. There are some particular courses in any health related program for this topic which you must know as a student.
You do not need to defend other staff. It is advisable to let them be responsible for their own actions. You can suggest the patient to talk to that particular staff instead of getting yourself involved.
When a team member makes a mistake the whole team will suffer. You are the face of the pharmacy. It is not a bad idea to at least memorize some sentences such as: I can imagine how difficult it must be for you. Sorry this has happened. I will talk to my team members.

My buying habits and others are not here for you to comment or not if you donāt like people go here then out
Lovely what I heard not a apology but a judge
For that security what I buy or not are not for you to commenting and your duty is check for safe or stealing not for questioning the customer who checking around
I trying to check and see to get rid of him now becoming the things he use to judge if you are being questioning everything are suspicious for you

You are not a big store with luxury here and get that afraid to anyone who donāt follow the secret dressing code in your mind
