Drove by a few times and finally got the chance to try this cute gelato spot!

Free street parking at the store front makes it easier.

The store is big enough for social distancing lineup and two small benches in the corner to enjoy a cone or cup.

The decor is just so cute, colorful ice cream truck & stand to display current flavors. They have very unique flavors to try, too bad I visit during COVID, so I didn’t bother asking to taste test any. The Uji Matcha and Raspberry Chip look very delicious, will try those next time.

This round, I tried the miso caramel swirl in a cup for $5.25 including tax. It’s a little steep for such a tiny cup but hey, this is quality gelato, so it’s the experience of the taste and ambience of the shop.

The small cup of miso caramel swirl seem small but actually it’s just right to taste and satisfy my sweet tooth. The texture is smooth but not too rich & creamy, so not filling too stuffed after. The overall sweetness is on the less sweet side which I appreciate because I can actually taste the hint of miso, I’m guessing it’s white miso to have the subtle taste of umami in the caramel swirl. The caramel swirl was on sweeter than the vanilla gelato so they contrast each other that the miso & caramel pop out. It was a very tasty cup of gelato!!

For sure will come back to try other flavors.

One thing I would see improvement is the pint freezer. The freezer has a sign says “pint” and that’s it, so I opened it myself, and staff told me right away that they could help. Maybe a sign on the freezer telling customer to order with staff would help? Also I prefer the gelato pints in glass jars instead of paper cups. I understand the paper cups are compostable but those containers don’t keep well in the freezer. I rather pay a deposit on the glass jars than the flimsy paper cups. On the other hand, I do appreciate the single serving cups and spoons are compostable. It’s all about recycling and be more environmentally responsible, so Koodo for them to get compostable products.

I just discovered this place when browsing DoorDash for a sweet treat, and I’m super glad I decided to give it a try. I had a really hard time picking a pint because all the flavours sounded so good, but I settled on cereal milk. A hard one to nail, but also gives me a chance to try the base without too many mixins.

I was honestly very surprised. This is real gelato, and the flavour is unreal. Sooo milky and dense, it literally glides on your tongue as it melts. And the flavour is straight up Frosted Flakes. I’m a massive flavour snob (pastry chef of ~10yrs), and this hits it out of the park. The high price might seem off putting, but gelato is a lot less aerated than ice cream so there’s more packed in there. And you really taste the difference in small batch. I’m super excited to go back for other flavors, especially pistachio and London fog.

I also tried a couple of cookies to test out the pastries, and they were great. Definitely baked on the same day, they were still chewy and crisp. 15 seconds in the microwave made them taste like fresh out of the oven. I’m usually a few bites and I’m good kinda guy, but I ate both cookies and the entire pint in one sitting if that’s worth...

Walked by and got attracted by its name. Google has all good reviews so decided to try it.

Inside is bright and neat. All the flavours are carried by an ice cream truck inside, which is pretty cute.

First time here and there are a lot of flavours to choose from. We decided to get HK milk tea and earl grey. Both of the tea flavours are strong, the texture is smooth and creamy. The two scoops we got were about $9ish in a large cup.

The reason I only gave 4 stars is that I don’t really feel welcoming. We are the only customers in the store and no queue outside, but the cashier/server did not recommend any flavours to us or explain anything to us. She did not offer any sampling as well. After the purchase, I noticed that we can actually get samples to try.

She also did not give us napkins... The gelato melted a bit on my hand while we were walking to our car... So I just realized, oops! Where's the napkins??! And she only gave us 1 spoon but we have 2 adults and 1 kid?

Hand sanitizer is out, she noticed it but didn’t bring out a new one.

The taste of the gelato is excellent, will come back to try out more flavours when we are nearby. I wish they can improve their...
