Absolutely love this place. I just recently moved to Richmond with my girlfriend and we live about 5 minutes from the harbour but it is by far one of my favorite places in Vancouver. The harbour and surrounding area has a little bit of everything for everyone. Parks and activities for both adults and kids. Beautiful views of the boats, harbour, mountains off in the distance. Great sunsets. And like I said they have everything within walking distance. Always lots of people walking around with smiles. It's also not too hipster-ish like other parts of Van. Ugh! The Britannia Brewing Company is right down by the harbour which is an amazing little restaurant with lots of delicious seasonal meals and drinks as well as craft beers. And of course there is always the Buck and Ear which is a fun place to finish off the end of an already, somewhat, rough night lol. Just a fun little area with lots to do for everyone. Lots of shops. Restaurants. Ramen spots. Fresh seafood. Seasonal and local menus. Ice cream. Tattoo parlours. Parks. Views. Attractive...

I know we all want to have Xmas, but I was really surprised that after Xmas when people are ready to get out for fresh air that this place was virtually shut down. Admittedly we were in a minority during our wanderings, but was this because everybody knows 'nothing to see here' during this period or because nobody gets out to stretch their legs and spend a...
