Insane pricing on everything in the shop, if you like to shop local and support local businesses there are so many better places in town to do it, like the farmers market for example, or The Whimsy Shop. Many brands they sell can be easily found at other stores for much cheaper. So it's not like the people who make it have it that expensive, Sask made just hikes up the price even further than anyone else selling these local products. For example they sell "green boy" brand products for almost twice what they are sold for at the nutters in Lawson. I guess a fool and their money are easily parted though, I have never bought anything at this store but I do go inside occasionally because they do have very good selection, however when I see something there I am interested in I will be disappointed to see the price tag and forced to look up where I can find it for a sensible price. Heck many of the brands they sell can even be found at Safeway for half the price! And usually Safeway is the expensive place.

Every time I go to Saskmade, their prices are higher. A few months ago, I was paying six dollars for a carton of eggs. Now, just a few months later, they are 9.50 per carton. I stopped buying eggs here. However, today on my way home, I decided to stop and see if they had any sourdough, as Earth's Bakery, an excellent place for sourdough, is closed for the holidays. The small loaves are NINE, yes, nine dollars per loaf! I decided to come home and post a review in the hopes that they might consider lowering their prices back to closer to what they were mere months ago. Unfortunately, I see that because I posted a negative review about the cost of their eggs, now I am blocked from commenting on their facebook webpage. This is dishonest and manipulative to only allow for positive feedback. I will be permanently banning this store in the future, and encourage others who have noticed their extreme price increases to ban them too. Also, it is really shady to remove negative comments and ban anyone who posts a critical review from commenting again in the future. I am outraged. Seriously disappointed...

I ordered some lovely tapered solid beeswax candles for my mom for Easter dinner at her place, they were absolutely perfect!!!!! She was thrilled with the quality of these wonderful candles!!!
