We went yesterday as it had been a few months since our last visit. My comment to my wife after we were seated was that did you notice that staffing has changed a lot, possibly new owners? It took some time after being seated before a server arrived, none the less we ordered all u can eat ribs and a rib hot wing combo and lastly apple crisp dessert. After waiting quite some time the server came over to say our order was mistakenly given to someone else so it would be a little bit mrore wait and were apologetic. When the food did arrive and with a different server now involved, I commented to my wife your hot wings looks more like curry wings they are so drenched. The ribs were fall off the bone okay but for some reason seems very bland and taste was off a bit so I had asked for more bold sauce, the second round of ribs were again fall off the bone but really tasted off and very very bland really so that was it for ribs. Now a third server was involved for the dessert and I commented to them that the kitchewn should double check before sending out and pointed out a hair on the plate, was not in the food at all but none the less you think you would check. Then lastly waited quite sometime like 20 minutes or so for yet another server who showed up to take the payment and they had nicely credited for the dessert without being asked to do so. I had to ask them though if the restaurant had changed ownership due to the food and change of staff and time it took for servers and they said it had within the last couple of months. So stands to reason as to why the experience was like that I would believe, new owners possibly cutting back on quality of food source or less experienced kitchen staff and of course new staff in front of house all possibly learning or maybe just a lack of leadership and training. None the less highly doubt will go back as was certainly sub par food quality for such an expense of it all.
Update: The owner called and we had an excellent conversation and he asked what he could do to make it right to which I replied that if you address the issues and make them better then that is good enough for me and based on that I said we would give the location another chance at a...
Read moreThis time around we were not pleased. The server that brought the food to our table neglected the cutlery. 2 minutes later the same server came back to see how we were doing. We asked for cutlery, she went to get some. 4 minutes later the server that seated us came to see how we were doing and we told her we had no cutlery. 15 seconds later our cutlery arrived. My wife's steak and baked potato had cooled down dramatically waiting 6 minutes for cutlery. FYI we never saw the server we first asked for cutlery. We never said anything as we did want to appear petty. Food was average but nice.
07/01/22 Our service was not great. The server neglected to bring a sprite and water to the table. We asked another server for help. The loaded baked potatoes in two of our meals were small and not very loaded. The wisky parralizer we ordered came with a lemon wedge. You don't mix milk based drinks with citrus!!!! We will be looking elsewhere for a better dining experience.
05.03.24 Tried again almost 2 years later. Not much has improved. Had 2 7oz steak meals. One was hot, and the other just warm as if had been sitting before it was served. Service was average.
03.15.25 We had the 12 ounce Striploin. One should have been rare, the other medium rare. We received well done and medium rare. I'm not a fan of boiled steak with sear marks .Again, I'm...
Read moreDined last Wednesday with friends. We were promptly and courteously (not really friendly) seated. Our server showed right away and we ordered drinks which arrived after a short wait. We ordered and two of us ordered endless ribs with fries, on the rib sampler and the 4th was chicken. Our order arrived in a reasonable time but we still had no silverware. Called our server back and asked for silverware. It took several minutes and I asked why it took so long. We were told because they were out of clean silverware. How do you do that on a Wednesday at 5:30 in a half full restaurant? Shrugged it off and started in on our suppers. All the meals were cold. Not inedible cold but certainly off putting. I flagged down our server and asked to speak to a manager who came by a few minutes later. I explained the issues and she offered to redo the meals which we appreciated but the others were hungry and decided to eat the meal as is. I opted for a new hot meal which arrived in a relatively short time. Food quality was in line with past experiences there and the 25% off the meals was appreciated but we would gladly have traded full price for a quality experience. It would also be great if the greeter or somebody would show an verbal appreciation for choosing your establishment as there are many choices for the...
