Horton Farmers' Market — Local services in St. Thomas

One look at the fruit and veggies, and you know this is really organic, locally farmed produce! Who knew that real natural tomatoes are so different in shapes, and a bit ugly! 😆

I love having a one-stop location for farmer's eggs, organic turkey goodies, most delicious greek gsrluc sauce, and if you want, a couple of stands with baked goods, a super fancy spices rack, meat, chilled pizza, seasonal fruits. It has everything for the whole week.

We are just two people, so buying just what we are going to eat during the week is very sustainable. I am happy we have this market founded in 1850...

I absolutely adore our Local Horton's Market! It has such a lovely selection of fresh, local produce and delicious deli items. My only wish is that it could be even larger and stay open a little later! Imagine if every Saturday could feel as enchanting as the fall and Christmas Markets—those are truly my favorites! With the delightful buzz of extra vendors, live music, an overflow tent, and the tempting aroma of roasted chestnuts, it really is a magical experience from Saturday to Saturday. In some ways, it's a really great market, considering there are only about 30 vendors. In other ways, it's a bit disappointing.

In any given market say, there are only about 6 farm stands and a few new pop up vendors, the rest is there same vendors.
