Tonight at around 11:00 pm, I went for a bicycle ride to this Circle K for some late night munchies. I looked around and couldn't find anywhere to lock my bike up. I walk with a cane and am classed as a PWD (person with disabilities). I use my bike as a way to get some exercise and my only mode of transportation. I live on disability assistance and can’t afford to have it stolen again.
So I opened the door and made a polite request of the clerk running the store at the time. I said, “Seeing as the RCMP report higher than normal bike theft in the area and there's no place to lock the bike up outside, do you mind if I park it inside so I can quickly get my munchies and go.”
The clerk looked at me as if I had 3 heads and sternly said “No! Get out of here!”
I drove around the parking lot on my way home, but decided to go back and get a picture to accompany a review I intended to write when I got home. I stood outside and took a few pictures. I gave the guy a thumbs up and he gave me thumbs up back in return. Then he looked at me angrily after I took the pictures and gave me a rather rude hand gesture. I flipped him the bird (I regret stooping to this level of behavior) and drove off.
This Circle K needs to work on their employee's people skills and sadly I will never visit this location again. The building looks PWD-friendly, but definitely not the staff, if this clerk is...

The service you can read what I wrote was remarkable. I wish we had more people like him.
