do NOT wear any jewelry that might even just remotely look like anything in this store. Today while shopping in this store I was accused of shop lifting based off one of my bracelets I was wearing while inside Now I do understand that the guildford mall is becoming a hot bed for crime, I happen to not be a criminal. i was approached by a man with a ladder.. asking me if i was going to pay for my braclet. he claimed it was "very similar " to the bracelets I had touched. the bracelets i noticed were the size of a child's wrist so i did not buy it.the cashier apologized to me while i made my purchase but the damage has been done. i wont be returning to this location ever again. I should not have to hid my own jewelry before i enter a store to avoid being called a shop lifter. If you buy from this location... DO NOT wear any of the items while revisiting... you might be called a theft.

Fun little store to look in, lots of unique gifts, but definitely overpriced like everything these days. I love though that there are mostly local vendors who have somewhere to showcase their items. You can order stuff from Etsy but once you pay shipping, the price is probably similar. However the store clerk didn't acknowledge me in any way, make eye contact, or say anything until I said something first. Maybe she's shy, but it doesn't take a lot to engage a little bit with the customer. I picked up a plastic drink container and the lid fell off as it wasn't secured. I put it back on the shelf wbesude the container. She came right over, I showed her what dropped, no conversation, and I do believe she had come only to see if I broke something. There's a sign right in there that says "You break it you buy it!". Today I was in frumpy clothes as I like to see the difference with how I'm dressed and how employees engage, and it's definitely "a thing"! Definitely a neat place to get a unique gift for someone but customer service and treatment (today anyways) left a lot...

I love this store, but the lady who wrapped my item did so poorly! Firstly, she didn't handle the item with care, which was a beautiful crystal wall hanging by CSC Jewelery. The item was set on the table and almost flew off while getting the box to wrap it in. She couldn't fold the box, and instead taped it with gift wrapping tape, stuffed my fragile item in said box, then stuffed the box with tissue paper, thinking it was okay. Once I left the store, I realized the box didn't need to be taped but folded, which wasn't hard at all, and my item became all tangled inside. I know it's busy holiday season, but taking the extra 60 seconds to ensure my item wasn't damaged or broken, it seemed like she didn't care. I was fairly upset by this, I'll still be continuing to shop there as I love supporting local, but I think maybe a lesson in handling these items with care and how to properly gift wrap them would be beneficial.
