Anne Sportun jewelry store is quite a different world from the loud, vibrant, and bustling Queen St. The store is washed in whites and light birch tones which fits the organic theme of the brand. It's soothing. The displays are all well spaced to allow your eyes to fixate on each delicate piece instead of being overwhelmed and crowded.

Service here is attentive. At times it can seem to be overreaching but I think they're meaning well. They had a sale available that day and they proactively let us know of it. I do appreciate it. When asked about specific stones, not all young associates had an understanding of the history or types so I think you may need to ask a few different associates to find your answer. Sadly the younger ones didnt seem to put much more effort into discovering more to answer my questions about gem history.

As for the pieces themselves, they're for someone who likes a well made understated elegance. You dont have scream 'bling bling' to appreciate these pieces. I like how they transcend today's trends and focus more on a timeless design. The casted organic rock pieces on a necklace was interesting and pretty.

The pricing is above your average mall spot but I believe the details and design does call for a mass market piece. Whether a piece you love fits into your budget is a different story. They do have a variety of items so even if your hearts desire isn't budget friendly, you can find another piece to bring...

We went to Haley at Anne Sportun to design an engagement ring together. She was excited, welcoming, and SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. She answered all of our questions regarding natural diamonds vs lab grown, the benefits of colored/S&P diamonds and completely colourless diamonds, settings ... everything - she knows her stuff.

Once we had our questions answered, she was very patient and gentle with guiding us through the design process. She pulled out tons of ready made rings and some loose stones so that we can assess what we wanted in a diamond.

I could go on and write a whole novel about our INCREDIBLE experience but I'll summarize here:

very knowledgeable and kind A true local family run business the ring was made in house with their expert jewelers and with Haley's ability to check on the work will work with with you to achieve what yiu want will also give you honest feedback and facts about the reality of your budget and what you want. Because of this, we happily went with a lab grown diamond to fit our budget while being able to fulfill our desire to have a large, excellent stone Price ... jewellery is expensive, period. But their prices are competitive against the Big Guys and eRetailers when you factor in the custom-tailored experience and attentive customer care: they WILL take care of you from start to finish and beyond while remembering your name.

Had a wonderful experience recently at Anne Sportun purchasing a custom ordered and engraved signet ring. I had been looking for a specific size and design to replace an existing ring I had, and had gotten a couple quotes from other places, but so happy we ended up here. I’d never had to order and customize a piece of jewellery before so didn’t really know what to expect, but Amy worked with me over the course of many weeks through the whole process. I explained what I was looking for, she got back to me with a few options and quotes, then worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. She was super patient and responsive in answering all my questions, kept me updated on next steps and what to expect, and gave me great guidance to support my decision making.

The idea of shopping, in person, for fine jewellery can seem intimidating, but the environment and all the staff at Anne Sportun were super approachable, friendly, and helpful. I’ve lived in the area for over a decade and walked by countless times and am so glad to have finally gone in and discovered it. Will definitely return next time I need another piece of jewellery either for myself or someone else.
