Bill's Farm — Local services in Toronto

I came to this location just 3 days ago and the man and women was very nice when I bought a zz plant for myself.

Today I went to buy something for my mother and another plant for myself. I had my 2 year old daughter with me who was looking at the snacks and trying to choose something to get, the man came and said “this is not a paradise, this is for business.” So I decided to purchase the chocolate first then continue looking at the plants. He was not letting me look properly at the plants and kept coming saying “are you ready?”, and then again he said “this is for business, not for paradise.” And my whole time in the store was for 5 minutes.

He was very rude, I am not sure if it was because I wear a scarf that he was racist or anything. But this experience was so rude, specially when I told him I wanted to buy a plant as well. When I left I told him “I wanted to buy a plant but you know what I’ll buy it from another store.”

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Bills Farm, located inside East York Mall in Toronto. The owner was rude and dismissive when I asked a simple question about a sign. In front of other customers, she raised her voice and said, “Can’t you read? Just go away, I’m already angry.” If she was in such a bad mood, she shouldn’t be serving customers. She then refused to sell me the item, simply because I was carrying a shopping bag from another store.

Her behaviour was unprofessional, aggressive, and deeply humiliating. I later found several other reviews describing similar experiences with this store, including concerns about discriminatory treatment.

No customer deserves to be treated this way. I have reported this incident to East York Mall management and the Better Business...

Cindy from Bill's Farm did an amazing job with all my wedding floral arrangements! Yes I went the unconventional route, and instead of going to the typical big wedding florist, I went with Cindy. She was very patient in understanding what I wanted and how I envisioned the look of the design. She was also very respectful of my budget and was able to adjust for exactly what I wanted and able to pay. Honestly, for the beautiful centre pieces, bouquets, boutonniere and corsages, I paid a fraction of what I would have else where. And they were so beautiful and exactly what I wanted.
