Chester Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Toronto

Completely unethical practices by staff running this place. The elder lady there is plain inconsiderate.

Ordered a combo meal once and asked for hot sauce and was given a cheap grade one, out of a squeeze bottle.

Then after, the woman starts waving in her hand a much more better hot sauce brand in packets to me that she took out from behind and below the counter, saying "This is what I like to use!" with a condescending smirk on her face as I was already walking away with my order towards the dining tables across in the food court there at the mall.

Was so disgusted, and the food was stale, cold and unappetizing with no appeal to it.

Never bothering to eat from there again since that horrible experience there.

There are quite a few more credible Halal chicken shacks in the area...

Wanted a small snack, and Chester Fried Chicken looked good. It’s halal, so I was pretty happy. We ordered a Chester Chicken Wrap, and boy was it huge! Told the guy that I wanted it extra spicy and he obliged and gave us some extra spicy sauce in the wrap. The wrap was heaavyyy and worth the money. Two of us ate it together as one snack!

Would I come back?...

It's one of my favourites spot in the city. Been comin to the mall only for this since years. The fried chicken is amazing!!! Its fried to perfection. I'd rate it above Popeyes and KFC even! The rice is always fresh.

I've never had any customer service issues here. The samosas and popcorn chicken are so good here!

Try their sandwich. Get it fresh its out...
